A chemical characterization of turning color table olives of the Sigoise variety was made through their processing as natural-style. Polyphenols, sugars, tocopherols, fatty acids, and antioxidant activity in the olives were monitored throughout the elaboration process. Oleuropein, salidroside, hydroxytyrosol 4-glucoside, rutin, ligustroside and verbascoside showed a decrease of 16.90-83.34%, while hydroxytyrosol increased during the first months of brining. Glucose was consumed by 90% due to the metabolism of the fermentative microbiota. The tocopherol content remained stable during the process and only the α-tocopherol decreased. The fatty acids were not affected. The loss in antioxidant compounds resulted in a decrease in the percentage of DPPH radical inhibition from 75.91% in the raw fruit to 44.20% after 150 days of brining. Therefore, the turning color natural table olives of the Sigoise variety are a good source of bioactive compounds.

The paper presents results of the experimental investigation of “spectral” diffractive lenses the same focus position for several given wavelengths. Two spectral diffractive lenses designed to focus radiation of three and five specified wavelengths in the visible spectrum were investigated. Using a method of direct laser writing in photoresist with iterative correction of writing parameters, we fabricated a diffractive microrelief of the spectral lenses with the height deviation from the designed relief of less than 30 nm. Using a pinhole located at the focus of the fabricated lenses, we estimated the operation wavelengths. The point spread functions of the spectral lenses at the designed wavelengths were measured with the use of a tunable laser. The imaging properties of the spectral lenses were illustrated by the images of a reference color table.

In color digital jacquard CAD system, the design of the color schemes is both significant and challenging. This paper mainly deals with how to design the jacquard scheme for each color in standard 256 color table with the given 6 different yarns. The features of the color schemes designed in this paper are as follows: 1. Manual operations are avoided in the process of yarn color selection; 2. Engineering difficulties are reduced through lessening the number of the yarns used for the weft; 3. The back side of the jacquard products is no longer in a mess; 4. With only a few changes, the color schemes in this paper can be comfortably applied to the present jacquard machines. In this way, we can not only improve the production efficiency, but also broaden the application market of color digital jacquard technology.
