A música para alívio do estresse de pais de recém-nascidos prematuros: revisão integrativa

Objetivo: identificar, por meio da literatura científica, a utilização da música como estratégia terapêutica para a redução do estresse de pais de recém-nascidos prematuros. Método: revisão integrativa utilizando artigos científicos completos indexados nas bases PubMed (Public/PublishMedline), Scopus (The largest base of abstracts and references from peer-revieweds cientific literature), PsycINFO (American Psychological Association base), Web of Science, LILACS (Literatura Latino Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde), CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature), SciELO (Scientific Eletronic Library Online) e Base de dados em Enfermagem (BDENF) via Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS). A pergunta norteadora foi: musicoterapia pode reduzir o nível de estresse de pais de recém-nascidos prematuros? Publicados no idioma português e inglês, e contendo descritores controlados e não controlados, no mês de fevereiro de 2021. Resultados: Foram selecionados 9 estudos, sendo apenas um realizado no Brasil. Os resultados encontrados foram, em geral, benéficos quanto a utilização da musicoterapia como forma de intervenção para a diminuição do nível de estresse de pais de recém-nascidos prematuros, além de proporcionar melhora do bem estar e da interação do pai/mãe e seu filho. Porém, um estudo identificou que a musicoterapia pode gerar efeito iatrogênico, como o aumento do estresse, nas situações em que não tiver um acompanhamento especializado. Conclusão: Esta revisão possibilitou observar que a musicoterapia é benéfica para a diminuição do nível de estresse parental de recém-nascidos prematuros, indicando também a necessidade de acompanhamento especializado.

Intercultural Latin American research on abuse in couple relationships of young university

Dating or falling in love implies a romantic experience of bonding, commitment and support between the members of a couple within the framework of a socio-cultural context. This kind of relationship contributes to the psychosocial well-being providing people with socio-emotional development. However, in this dating period, many partners deal with situations of violence. The aim of current work was to analyze and to describe the presence, type and level of abuse in dating relationships in four Latin American countries. Method: the target group involved 1195 secondary, high school and university students aged 12 to 30 years from Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Peru. The Questionnaire Dating Abuse (CMN; Osorio-Guzmán, 2014), which contains 5 areas and α = 0.95, was applied. The study met the ethical standards of the American Psychological Association. Results: the proportion of participants was Argentina (22.9%), Chile (25.3%), Mexico (36.9%) and Peru (15%). The reliability of the instrument ranges from .93 to .95. It was found that more than 90% of the cases report low levels of abuse, and 21.5% reported family violence patterns. Conclusions: the naturalization of dating violence is verified, and it is considered essential to work on its denaturalization.

Pengaruh Senam Hamil Terhadap Kualitas Tidur Ibu Hamil Trimester III

The quality of sleep in pregnant women is very important for the health of both mother and fetus. The cause of sleep disturbances in pregnant women is due to the increased weight of the fetus, shortness of breath, fetal movement and back pain. To overcome this, it is necessary to do pregnancy exercises that increase the comfort of pregnant women. The purpose of this article is to determine the effect of pregnancy exercise on the quality of sleep of tird trimester pregnant women. The method used is a literature review which tries to dig up information about the effect of pregnancy exercise on the quality of sleep of pregnant women. Sources for conducting this literature review include systematic search studies of computerized databases (Scopus and Google Scholar) in the form of research journals totaling 3 journals. Writing scientific articles using the American Psychological Association bibliography (APA Format 6th Ed). The results showed that the mean value of sleep quality for pregnant women before doing pregnancy exercise was 12.43 and the mean value after pregnancy exercise was 6.43 (p = 0.000), thus there was an effect of pregnancy exercise on the sleep quality of pregnant women in the third trimester. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan senam hamil yang meningkatkan kenyamanan pada ibu hamil.Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam hamil terhadap kualitas tidur ibu hamil trimester III. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi tinjauan literatur (literature review) yang mencoba menggali informasi mengenai pengaruh senam hamil terhadap kualitas tidur ibu hamil. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai mean kualitas tidur ibu hamil sebelum melakukan senam hamil adalah 12.43 dan nilai mean setelah pemberian senam hamil 6.43(p= 0.000),dengan demikian ada pengaruh senam hamil terhadap kualitas tidur ibu hamil trimester III. Simpulan berdasarkan ulasan di atas bahwa aktivitas senam hamil dapat menjadi salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada ibu hamil.Kata kunci: Ibu hamil; Kualitas tidur; Senam hamil

"Al hablar de la psicoterapia funcional analítica transcultural (PAF), el tratamiento de clientes de orígenes culturalmente diversos, nos basamos, no sólo en las experiencias de los terapeutas de PAF fuera de los Estados Unidos (p.ej., Carrascoso, 2003; Ferro et al., 2006; López et al., 2002; Ferro et al., 2009), sino también en la creciente literatura sobre la competencia cultural y el multiculturalismo. Décadas de trabajo en esta última área han generado una profunda reflexión (Sue y Zane, 1987; Sue y Sue, 2003; Fowers y Davidov, 2006), directrices prácticas (American Psychological Association, 2003) y estrategias integrales para adaptar los tratamientos a las poblaciones multiculturales (Hays, 2001; Hwang, 2006; Hinton, 2006). This chapter covers issues around citing, and crediting others for, their ideas and work. The chapter defines and provides examples of plagiarism and offers strategies for avoiding plagiarism in one’s own work. The chapter lays out situations when sources should be cited and the types of sources that are most appropriate to cite in specific situations. Four prominent citation styles are reviewed—American Psychological Association, American Sociological Association, Index Medicus, and Chicago styles. Ways to diversify citations and to avoid over-citing sources are also presented. Ways to paraphrase sources without quoting them directly are offered.

The study of the mind and how we behave regarding certain things is tied to psychology. Psychology in itself is merely a field of study that studies the scientific nature of the mental states and processes of the mind. American Psychological Association defines psychology as the study of the mind and behavior. The question of how our minds affect our physical processes is a topic of great concern in psychology. Asserts that psychology is considered mainly a "hub science," having hefty connections to social sciences, medical science, and education. The interactions involve the mutuality between our internal and external states, and what extends from it plays an essential role in shaping the manifestations of our life's endeavors. The outfits of psychology determine how we handle tools, people, processes, etc., even in our places of work; the way we address our fellow workers, devices, and tools has almost everything to do with our psychological makeup.

Revisão sistemática das características dos homicídios contra a população LGBT

Resumo A população de Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Travestis e Transexuais (LGBT) há tempo mostra-se excluída da sociedade. Uma realidade oriunda da marginalização ainda presente nos dias de hoje. O objetivo deste artigo é descrever o perfil quantitativo de homicídios contra a população LGBT quanto às características dos crimes, das vítimas e dos autores. Revisão sistemática, incluindo estudos quantitativos sobre homicídios de LGBT. As bases das pesquisas foram: Pubmed Central (Medline); Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS); Embase, (Elsevier); Scopus (Elsevier), Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e PsyNET (American Psychological Association - APA) com termos MESH selecionados. Protocolo do PROSPERO: CRD42016053977. Dezesseis estudos foram incluídos. Os homicídios tendem a envolver uma vítima e um autor, que ocorrem na residência da vítima ou via pública. A vítima geralmente é mais idosa do que o autor do crime, normalmente desconhecido pela vítima. Os transgêneros são os LGBT mais acometidos e, em geral, são jovens com menos de 30 anos. Esta revisão confirma que esses homicídios podem ser considerados “crimes de ódio”, em que esses indivíduos, em geral, são vitimados por armas de fogo, armas brancas, espancados ou asfixiados até a morte.

Towards causal explanations of language mechanisms behind emotion development

There is a growing body of evidence suggesting that language difficulties co-occur with social,emotional, and behavioural (SEB) difficulties in children (see St Clair et al., 2011; Levickis et al., 2018).However, the research literature has not yet uncovered the direct causal mechanisms behind this cooccurrence.To illustrate this, I will begin with an overview of key emotion theories that the existingco-occurrence studies have missed. I will then examine relevant language and emotion developmentresearch on the basis of (1) theoretical framework, (2) methodological rigour, (3) ecological validity ofprocedures, and (4) evidential value to real-world educational and clinical contexts. Finally, I willconclude with my reflection on the causality between language difficulties and SEB difficulties inchildren. To respect the preference of the communities I represent, I will use identity-first andemancipatory language (American Psychological Association, 2019; Bottema-Beutel et al., 2020; TheAlliance for Inclusive Education, 2021) wherever applicable throughout this paper.
