Meniscus therapy is a challenging process. Besides the respective surgical procedure such as partial meniscectomy, meniscus repair, or meniscus replacement, early postoperative rehabilitation is important for meniscus regeneration and return to sport and work as well as long-term outcome. Various recommendations are available. However, the current literature lacks information concerning the actual early rehabilitation in daily routine recommended by orthopedic surgeons. Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate currently used standard early rehabilitation protocols in the daily routine of orthopedic surgeons. This study investigated the recommendations and concepts for early rehabilitation after meniscus therapy given by German, Austrian, and Swiss orthopedic institutions. Standardized criteria such as weight bearing, range of motion, use of an orthosis, and rehabilitation training were analyzed according to the conducted surgical procedure: partial meniscectomy, meniscus repair, or meniscus replacement. The analysis of standard rehabilitation concepts for partial meniscectomy (n=15), meniscus repair (n=54), and meniscus replacement (n=7) showed significantly earlier functional rehabilitation in all criteria after partial meniscectomy in contrast to meniscus repair techniques (p<0.001). In addition, significant restrictions were found in full weight bearing, full range of motion, and the use of braces. In summary, a wide range of recommendations for weight bearing, ROM, brace therapy, and mobilization is available, particularly after meniscus repair and meniscus replacement. Most concepts are in accordance with those described in the current literature. Further research is necessary to enhance the scientific evidence on currently used early rehabilitation concepts after meniscus therapy.

Objective: To explore the effect of combining modern rehabilitation concepts with acupuncture and massage therapy on the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy. Methods: Research work was carried out in our hospital. The work was carried out from September 2018 to September 2019. A total of 100 patients were selected, all of whom were children with cerebral palsy. The 100 patients with cerebral palsy were divided into two groups:the control group who was given modern rehabilitation concept intervention, and the intervention group who was given modern rehabilitation concept combined with acupuncture and massage. The recovery condition of the two groups of cerebral palsy children was compared and analyzed. Results: There were 5 patients in the treatment group who were ineffective, the effective rate was 90.00%, and 11 people in the control group were ineffective, the effective rate was 78.00% which has existential meaning. The incidence of sequelae of the children in the experimental group was 14.00%, and the incidence of sequelae of the children in the control group was 32.00%. In contrast, the incidence of the experimental group was low and the effect was good. The difference in data was significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: The combination of modern rehabilitation concepts and TCM acupuncture and massage intervention methods in children with cerebral palsy has a significant effect, which can improve the child ’s adverse conditions, promote the child ’s recovery, and improve the child ’s motor function, it can be promoted.

Neuropsychology, as a science, studies possible relations between psychological processes and brain in cases of normality and diverse pathologies. Such kind of relations might be established and understood by different manners. A.R. Luria proposed unique and particular way of approach by brain units. Such conceptionis not completely understood and even less used in practice of diagnosis and rehabilitation today. Neuropsychologists provide assessments of isolated functions by help of psychometric procedures. The judgment of diagnosis refers to such terms as “attention or memory disorders”, dyslexia and so on. All these terms are really far away from the conception of systemic and dynamic representation of human actions infunctional brain systems. Same or worse is the situation with rehabilitation directed to isolated operations as conductive exercises for isolated functions. The objective of our report is to share opinion of application of Luria’s methodology of syndrome analysis. Procedures of systemic functional diagnosis must conduct to systemic procedures in rehabilitation. An example of qualitative assessment of adolescent patient withbrain injury is presented. Goals, stages and examples of formation of actions in rehabilitation with results are provided. Psychological conceptions of stage by stage formation and orientation base of action and its usage for rehabilitation is taken into account. We conclude that systemic and dynamic approach in neuropsychology might be conducted in reality of assessment and rehabilitation. We discuss the necessity of establishment of bridges between psychological theory of actions instead of functions and systemic representation of actions by functional brain systems. There has been increase attention to the surgical treatment of the subscapularis (SSC) tendon with risk of postoperative dysfunction and early failures following shoulder arthroplasty. Studies investigating the clinical results after shoulder arthroplasty indicate that SSC tendon detachment or incision techniques and rehabilitation concepts may impair SSC recovery and consequently the postoperative function. In response to these results, technical modifications have been proposed and evaluated anatomically, biomechanically, and clinically. The aim of this article is to give an overview of current SSC take-down approaches, subsequent repair techniques, and postoperative rehabilitation protocols as well as to present the diagnostic algorithm and clinical impacts of the increasingly acknowledged condition of SSC insufficiency following shoulder arthroplasty procedures.
