DEVELOPMENT OF MANUFACTURING INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING METHOD

Inventory has an important role in business activities. This is because inventory has an effect on changes in the production market and anticipates price changes in the demand for many goods. PT. Barkah Jaya Mandiri is a company engaged in manufacturing where the management of inventory at the company is still done conventionally. This causes various problems such as the occurrence of discrepancies in the stock of goods, discrepancies in data and final reports as well as obstacles in the production process in the event of a shortage or excess of raw materials. (Material Requirement Planning) in order to overcome the problems that occur in the company. The combination of the SDLC model and data collection techniques including observation, interviews and literature study were also carried out in this study in order to achieve the system that will be built to suit the targeted needs. With this system, the management of inventory data at this company can be done easily and accurately and save time compared to the previous system, so that the procurement of manufacturing raw materials is optimal and employee performance is better.

Material Requirement Planning and Supply Chain Performance of Oil and Gas Firms in Rivers State, Nigeria

Purpose: This study examined the relationship between material requirement planning and supply chain performance of Oil and Gas firms in Rivers State, Nigeria. Methodology: The study adopted an explanatory research design with a causal type of investigation. Both primary and secondary methods of data collection were used to obtain relevant data for analysis. The instrument of data collection employed was the questionnaire. The study population comprised of two hundred and ninety-three (293) oil and gas servicing firms operating in Rivers State as enlisted in the Nigerian oil and gas industry annual report (2020). The sample size for the study comprised 149 oil and gas firms in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. The sample size was determined using the Taro Yamene formula. Furthermore, the researcher selected one management staff from each of the oil and gas firms operating in Rivers State as respondents for the study hence a total of one hundred and forty nine (149) respondents were used for the study. The data was analyzed using the Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation statistic through the aid of statistical packages for social science version 23.0. Findings: The result of the study revealed the existence of significant and positive relationship between material requirement planning and supply chain performance of oil and gas firms in Rivers State. Recommendation: The researcher concluded that material requirement planning affect supply chain performance of oil and gas firms in Rivers state and therefore recommended that managers of oil and gas firms should strategically manage their material and inventory processes in other to improve their supply chain performance.

Optimasi Persediaan Bahan Baku Deker melalui Metode Material Requirement Planning pada CV Ajax Sport

Inventory of raw materials is the initial process in planning and controlling production. Because by planning and controlling raw materials, it becomes one of the processes to produce an optimal production system. In order for raw material inventory to be controlled, the MRP method is used in its completion. In the case study at CV Ajax Sport, it is known that controlling raw material inventory using MRP produces an inventory value of Rp. 139,911,944,- for 12 weeks, with the number of orders for F300 raw materials as many as 71,716 units and for G300 raw materials as many as 67,297 units. And this value shows a very large value both financially and product units, so it must be managed appropriately and accurately.

RAW MATERIAL INVENTORY PLANNING OF PATIENT MENU USING MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING (MRP) IN RSIA KENDANGSARI MERR SURABAYA

Introduction: Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a technique or a logical procedure to translate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) of the finished goods or end item into the net requirements for some of the components needed to implement the MPS. MRP is used to determine the amount of material needs to support the Master Production Schedule and when the material needs to be scheduled.Methods: The study is conducted on 13 August 2018 until 12 September 2018 at the installation Nutrition RSIA Kendangsari Merr Surabaya. Collecting data in this study using several methods, including: observation- This stage is conducted in all parts related to the object of study, starting from the Purchase Order (PO) by a head cook up to raw material stored in the storage, discussion- author interviews and collects data to communicate and discuss with the respondents. Respondents in this study are the head of the nutrition unit and head cook of RSIA who have the authority doing the purchasing.Results: Planning of procurement of raw materials to the menu rawon in RSIA can use the Exponential Smoothing method. The discussion has compared two methods of forecasting and the results are consistent with the demand’s patterns of Simple Moving Average method, Exponential Smothing. Forecasting has the lowest error rate by using Exponential Smoothing. The second conclusion is a technique of determining the appropriate Material Requirement Planning in raw material procurement to menu rawon in RSIA is using Lot for Lot.

Perencanaan Jumlah Material yang Minimal dengan Metode Material Requirement Planning (Studi Kasus PT. Z)

PT. Z merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur yang memproduksi berbagai jenis perhiasan. Proses produksi perhiasan merupakan proses produksi make to order yang berpolakan fluktuatif. Perusahaan sering kali tidak dapat memperkirakan jumkah bahan baku yang dibeli beserta biaya minimum yang dikeluarkan untuk memenuhi permintaan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu memenuhi jumlah bahan baku pembuatan kalung yang diproduksi dengan biaya minimum. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode Material Reguirement Planning (MRP). MRP merupakan metode yang dapat membantu penyelesaian persoalan yang kemudian diuraikan secara detail dengan melakukan beberapa tahap penyelesaian sampai pada yang optimum. Dari hasil perhitungan bahan baku tahun 2019 yang dilakukan menggunakan metode perusahaan sebesar Rp 25.839.584.100 lebih besar dari metode MRP yaitu sebesar Rp. 25.807.204.800,- dengan metode MRP perusahaan dapat mengurangi biaya hingga Rp. 32.409.800,- atau penghematan sebesar 0,13%. dan interval pemesanan dari 12 kali menjadi 6 kali selama setahun.

PEENCANAAN DAN PENGENDALIAN BAHAN BAKU KURSI KAYU BENGKOK DENGA METODE MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING (MRP) DI CV. ADIL AMBARAWA

Abstrak CV. Adil Ambarawa merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam pembuatan furniture. Salah satu furniture yang dihasilkan adalah Kursi Kayu Bengkok. Bentuk kursi ini yang unik dan bengkok yang membuat konsumen tertarik dan senang dengan produk mebel ini. Jenis produksi pada perusahaan tersebut adalah produk produksi sesuai dengan permintaan (make to order). Dalam melakukan perencanaan dan pengendalian bahan baku, perusahaan mengalami kendala karena belum dilakukannya suatu perencanaan yang tepat dalam menentukan kebutuhan bahan baku. Untuk membantu masalah yang terjadi pada CV. Adil Ambarawa, maka diterapkan suatu metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) yang dapat membantu perusahaan dalam melakukan perencanaan dan pengendalian bahan baku secara tepat, dan efisien. Biaya yang dikeluarkan perusahaan dalam melakukan pengadaan bahan baku selama satu tahun sebesar Rp 431.165.000, sedangkan dengan menggunakan MRP dengan teknik lot sizing Periodic Order Quantity (POQ), perusahaan mengeluarkan biaya sebesar Rp 349.515.467. Analisis Metode Material Requirement Planning Pada Persediaan Bahan Baku Produk Vdrip Coffee di Rajaswa Coffee

Material Requirement Planning (MRP) merupakan metode yang dilakukan untuk melakukan perencanaan persediaan bahan baku. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis metode MRP yang cocok digunakan untuk perencanaan persediaan bahan baku produk Vdrip Coffee di Rajaswa Coffee. Teknik lotting yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Lot For Lot (LFL) dan metode Period Order Quantity (POQ). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka metode yang paling efisien diterapkan di Rajaswa Coffee yaitu metode Period Order Quantity (POQ). Metode LFL menghasilkan biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 988.358, sedangkan metode POQ dapat menghasilkan biaya persediaan sebesar Rp 182.540. Artinya dengan metode POQ Rajaswa Coffee akan menghemat biaya sebesar Rp 805.818

Sistem Manajemen Persediaan pada Bunda Bakery dengan Mengimplementasikan Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

Bunda Bakery merupakan bakery yang telah beroperasi sejak tahun 2017. Bunda Bakery memproduksi rotinya berdasarkan asumsi pemiliknya dan menyebabkan proses produksi yang tidak teratur. Sering terjadi overproduksi sehingga roti yang dihasilkan tidak layak untuk dijual. Hal ini juga mempengaruhi jumlah persediaan bahan baku yang tidak terkendali. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat membantu dalam pengendalian pasokan bahan baku dengan menggunakan teknik perhitungan Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Implementasi MRP juga didukung dengan menggunakan metode peramalan Single Exponential Smoothing dan metode Lot Sizing Fixed Order Quantity. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap sistem informasi yang dibangun dengan menggunakan pengujian blackbox didapatkan bahwa 100% fungsionalitas sistem berjalan dengan baik. Pengujian penerimaan pengguna (UAT) yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun dapat diterima oleh pengguna. Selanjutnya pengujian perbandingan akurasi metode menunjukkan bahwa hasil perhitungan yang ditampilkan pada sistem sudah akurat. Dan pengujian terakhir adalah uji usability, hasil pengujian menunjukkan rata-rata 89.95% pengguna sangat setuju dengan pembangunan sistem ini.
