Inventory has an important role in business activities. This is because inventory has an effect on changes in the production market and anticipates price changes in the demand for many goods. PT. Barkah Jaya Mandiri is a company engaged in manufacturing where the management of inventory at the company is still done conventionally. This causes various problems such as the occurrence of discrepancies in the stock of goods, discrepancies in data and final reports as well as obstacles in the production process in the event of a shortage or excess of raw materials. (Material Requirement Planning) in order to overcome the problems that occur in the company. The combination of the SDLC model and data collection techniques including observation, interviews and literature study were also carried out in this study in order to achieve the system that will be built to suit the targeted needs. With this system, the management of inventory data at this company can be done easily and accurately and save time compared to the previous system, so that the procurement of manufacturing raw materials is optimal and employee performance is better.

   One strategy is to increase productivity by enhancing the company's inventory management system to support the smooth day-to-day operations, the company hopes to establish the amount of raw material inventories efficiently, besides it can reduce the undesirable things, such as: Stock material less raw, raw material stock of redundant, inefficient, disorganized inventory layout, handling errors resulting in damage to the raw materials and others. Models control conducted by PT. Cahaya Buana Intitama is currently using two techniques, namely the calculation of average calculation and the calculation of the last three months the average per period (total months of the current year) to obtain the "Purchase Plan".Keywords: productivity, raw materials, control, material requirements planning.

Inventory management without Material Requirement systems in CV. Bangun Cipta Artha resulted in the lot size for each order of raw materials not optimal. One concept that can be used to plan and control raw materials is the Material Requirement Planning. This study is to determine the number of sizes of raw material orders, the exact order time, the method that produces the lowest cost for each raw material, and the effect of using MRP on inventory costs. This research conducted on 160x200cm spring bed products. Data was analyzed by making production master schedules, determining net requirements, determining lot size, and making MRP tables. Based on the results, the determination the best lot sizing is the order quantiy period which results in a total inventory cost of Rp. 26,475,220 where the total cost is lower, compared to lot for lot method which Rp. 43,464,000. part period balancing Rp. 33,106,576, and conventional method Rp.49,472,912. With the rapidly changing market conditions, an accurate and highly dynamic inventory management model is much needed for making an enterprise more predictable to the global competition. However, traditional inventory management in production logistics is inadequate in managing inventories with high fluctuation in demand and value. To establish effective inventory management strategy, this paper presents a knowledge-based inventory management system for active inventory replenishment based on multi-agent dynamic forecasting and knowledge-based system technologies. The system dynamically forecasts the fluctuation of the demand and updates price of its raw materials. Hence, appropriate inventory management strategies are derived to respond and adapt to the rapid market changes and the material requirement. A prototype system has been built and successfully trial implemented in a manufacturing enterprise.

The success of a company is influenced by employee performance. By improving employee performance will make it easier for company goals to be achieved. One factor that can improve employee performance is the provision of compensation and motivation. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of compensation and work motivation on employee performance. The sampling technique used is by taking a purposive sampling. The method used in this research is data collection through questionnaires, literature study, and observation. The technique used to analyze simple linear regression data and examine hypotheses simultaneously and partially. The result is compensation and motivation significantly influence employee performance simultaneously.

A stock out is undesirable for manufacturers because it halts the production process. An inventory is the stock of ideal resources in a firm for future use. Manufacturing organizations typically have raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, tools and equipment’s; semi-finished goods etc., the inventory of an item should not be neither too high nor too less. It should be optimal. The recent development in inventory management is JIT (Just-in-Time). JIT implies handling of inventory in a much disciplined way. It requires changes in culture. It also encompasses the Japanese managerial characteristics i.e., Lifetime employment, implicit control mechanisms, collective decision making, collective responsibility and holistic concern for employees. JIT applies to all functions of a company not just the operations.

The motivation and high morale of a person can carry out their duties and responsibilities to the maximum extent possible, with high motivation and enthusiasm from one's employees to have a positive impact on the progress and development of the company going forward. If the higher the motivation and enthusiasm of employee work, the better the performance of employees in a company. Data collection techniques used in this journal are the techniques of collecting literature study data by collecting all relevant sources from books, journals, articles and other sources. The purpose of writing this journal is to determine the relationship of motivation and enthusiasm in improving employee performance in a company.

PT. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia is one of the big companies in the Banyuwangi area and is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry that is a company processing canned fish. The number of constraints in planning raw material inventories that cause the occurrence of excess or accumulation of raw materials and shortages causes freezing of operational costs. The implementation of the material requirement planning (MRP) system is expected to be able to find out the optimal amount of raw material inventory and the right ordering time to meet production needs with optimal costs. This study was aimed to determine the exact lot size technique based on inventory costs and to compare the MRP method with inventory in the company based on total inventory costs. The research method used was the determination of the lot size and MRP system. The results showed that the lot for lot method for ASCK cans, ASCB cans, ASTB cans, and pasta, while EOQ for ASTK cans, ASEPK cans, sugar, salt and flour. The MRP system in each raw material can be used as an indicator to minimize total inventory costs when compared to the company's method during the previous period.

A company often has difficulty in controlling raw materials,it could be surplus or minus. Preventing these problem,we made a problem solving. Material needs planning is made for efficient and effective materials application  in the execution of work, so the problems because of material is avoided.this  research purpose is planning  and controlling raw material and supplier selection by Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method. Material Requirement Planning is a method for determining materials or components which  make or buy, how much it is needed and when it is needed. The result using the calculation by MRP method show Fix Period Requirement (FPR) is the best method, because the calculation of Fix Period Requirement method got the lowest total cost that is  Rp.18,722,190,090, -.FPR is obtained a profit about Rp. 6.096.088.915,00 or about 25% more efficient than the method applied company.
