The clash of ideas between classical music and several avant-garde movements in the previous century, not only found its way into twentieth century musicology, it also lead to a number of new developments in music digitalization. This paper reflects on the inscription of these opposing ideas about the concept of music into the contemporary views on the human condition and the notion of computability of human interactions. Harry Partch, the American iconoclast broke away from the classic, predominantly European traditions in music, and contested the abstract architecture and well-tempered tonal system of it. The mathematician Guerrino Mazzola constructed an even bigger, abstract formalization system, that allegedly allows for a complete digitalization of music, from the mind and inner ear of the composer towards the scores, the gestures and sounds produced by the performers up to the auditory cortex of the listeners. In this paper we will mainly investigate the philosophical and musicological basis of this formalization system, which is essentially based on the Denotator system and a number of concepts from algebraic topology applied to music. Finally, we will unravel the typical de-humanizing aspects that are followed in the digitalization system as used by Mazzola, and what this approach implicates for humanity (and the human sciences).

Abstract. Architecture represents the cultural and intellectual identity of peoples. It is an authentic wealth of civilization that embodies the creative and aesthetic level that man has reached in various successive eras and historical periods (Al-Zahrani, 2012). It is a heritage that cannot be estimated and a living memory that reflects the extent of harmony between climate and the natural components of the environment on the one hand and, on the other, the economic and social systems on which man depends. Architectural heritage has received substantial attention from various entities, as it is an important historical and national project that contributes to the development of contemporary and future social structure and establishes a cultural policy building responsible community awareness. This so important considering that cultural heritage faces threats mainly related to its deterioration because of failing its preservation or undertaking inappropriate restoration work, as we illustrate by the case of the Kasbah of Agadir. The restorers with insufficient experience committed serious architectural failures in the Kasbah. It is difficult now to restore the state of the building before the restoration. They used materials that had a negative and distorting impact. As a result, these mistakes led to the destruction of the Kasbah’s architectural features.

Abstract: Architecture as one of the fields that cannot be separated from how to process space is very appropriate in supporting the Eco Village program because the conception of space in the field of architecture has a three-dimensional conception. Through understanding the concept of three-dimensional space with limited land owned by each citizen does not mean that the community cannot cultivate their land into productive land, namely making agricultural land (agriculture). This makes observers interested in researching villages that have long been built, but are now blocked by housing that was once an empty space (in this case rice fields) in Bojongsoang Village, Bojongsoang District, Bandung Regency as a form of observer participation in developing an urban farming approach to achieving sustainability (sustainable). The purpose of this study was to find out which Eco Village models exist in the region Paralon Village as an Eco-Architecture concept in supporting the development of Sustainable City, as one of the eco-architecture models in urban villages by utilizing the land and space of each community member.

Abstract: Architecture and cultural acculturation studies are important in cultural heritage buildings, as they have not yet been discussed in detail about the mass formation related to architectural character. The case was Hasyim Ning limas house in Palembang. The purpose of this research is to know the cultural mixing at Hasyim Ning limas house which has resulted in its unique architectural character. The methodology used is the acculturation approach which is the concept of local cultural meet with foreign culture in the case of residential architecture. The results of research are some changes and additions to limas house is the result of the process of cultural acculturation. The limas house Hasyim Ning has been changed and added. Changes occur in the column and some parts of the roof, as well as the use of building materials. Addition occurs on the back house because the room needs.

In this paper, modelling, simulation and verification of multi-agent manufacturing system with application of bio-inspired techniques are addressed. To this end, the new solution of abstract architecture for control and coordination decentralized systems - CODESA is suggested. Centralized architecture suffers from various problems, such as rigidity, scalability, low fault-tolerance or very limited flexibility, agility, energy efficiency and productivity. Prime is concrete application of CODESA in manufacturing domain. The undesirable characteristics of emergent behaviour are the problem to achieve optimization and impossibility to predict future states of the system. CODESA-Prime has been tested by simulations for automatic guided vehicle (AGV) systems guided by magnetic tape in Ella Software Platform.

Looking at the ways in which players interact with computer games (thegameplays), we perceive predominance of character-centered and/or microcontrolled modes of interaction. Despite being well established, these gameplays tend to structure the games in terms of challenges to be fulfilled on an individual basis, or by thinking collectively but having to microcontrol several characters at the same time. From this observation, the paper presents a complementary gameplay in which the player is urged to face collective challenges by designingcharacter organizations. The basic idea is to make the player structure and control group of characters by definingorganizational specifications(i.e., definitions of roles, collective strategies, and social norms). During the game, commanded by the player, artificial agents are then instantiated to play the roles and to follow the strategies and norms as defined in the organizational specification. To turn the idea into practice, the paper proposes an abstract architecture comprising three components or layers. This architecture is materialized in a proof of concept prototype that combines the Minecraft game server, JADE agent platform, and MOISE+ organizational model. Variations and possibilities are discussed and the proposal is compared to related work in the literature.
