Basic movements and dominant physical conditions are often still a problem for soccer players in supporting the strategies and tactics of a coach in building attacks or in defense, especially at Football Club Gemilang Raya Kuningan. Some players still have shortcomings in carrying out correct and accurate basic movements and do not yet know the physical procedural requirements that a professional soccer player must possess. Based on the problems faced, the STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan Service Team carried out activities to overcome the problems faced by partners. Community service activities aim to improve the abilities and skills of Football Club Gemilang Raya Kuningan athletes in performing basic movements and knowing the dominant physical condition. The activity was carried out at the Gemilang Raya Kuningan Football Club and was attended by 20 players. The method used is a coaching clinic which consists of 2 sessions. The material provided consists of understanding basic movements and dominant physical conditions, practice on basic movements and dominant physical conditions. The results of the activity to the community showed an increase in the abilities and skills of Football Club Gemilang Raya Kuningan players regarding basic movements and dominant physical conditions.

Abstract Background The calcaneus secundarius (CS) is an accessory ossicle of the anterior facet of the calcaneus and is usually asymptomatic. This accessory bone can be frequently mistaken for a fracture of the anterior process of the calcaneus. Few reports of symptomatic CS have been published, and physicians need to be familiar with imaging strategies when encountering chronic ankle pain or in case of suspicion of fracture of the anterior process of the calcaneus. Case presentation We describe the case of symptomatic CS in a professional soccer player injured during a match. First, computed tomography showed a large CS. Second, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated synchondrosis between the CS and the calcaneus, as well as edema (high MR T2 signal) within it, corresponding to posttraumatic edema. The patient was successfully treated with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and physiotherapy; no surgical management was necessary. At the 4-week follow-up, he was pain-free and returned to activity. Conclusion This case illustrates the role of imaging for the diagnosis of CS in cases of acute pain of the foot. CT, as well as MRI, helped to confirm the diagnosis of CS traumatized synchondrosis, which can be mistaken for a fracture.

Introduction: Preferred sites of osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) are the distal femur and humerus, and the dome of the talus. We report a rare case of a professional soccer player with bilateral OCD of the talar posterior calcaneal articular surface. Case Report: The left talus showed a loose but not displaced fragment, and pain was relieved with 3 months of conservative treatment. The right had two loose fragments that were displaced from their beds in the talar posterior calcaneal articular surface. The loose bodies were surgically excised. The player remains symptom free 4 years after the operation and participates in professional games. Thus, although OCD of the talar posterior calcaneal articular surface remains a relatively uncommon injury, we suggest that treatment methods tailored to the OCD stage as per Berndt and Harty classification may be successful. The exact causes and establishment of a treatment protocol in these cases will depend on the investigation of future cases. Conclusion: Since this case of OCD of the talar posterior calcaneal articular surface was bilateral, we hypothesized that it may have been caused by microtrauma in the sense of repetitive, excessive compression of the subchondral bone, or by a vascular etiology. Keywords: Case report, lateral hindfoot pain, osteochondral lesion, subtalar articular facet, subtalar joint.

Introduction. The fractures of the posterior process of talus are relatively rare injuries of the ankle. They most frequently occur via the mechanism of the forced hyper plantar flexion and inversion. Sometimes they are not initially diagnosed, since over 40% of cases of the fractures of the posterior process of talus are not seen in the initial radiography. The objective of this work is the review of the case study of the arthroscopically treated unhealed fracture of the posterior process of talus. Case outline. In our case report we have presented the 30-year-old male, professional soccer player, with a three-month-long history of chronic pain in the region of the left ankle and heel and the fracture of the posterior process of talus. Conclusion. The work shows all the advantages of minimally invasive surgery - arthroscopic excision of the fragment, quick recovery and returning to physical activities.

This article uses the experiences of professional soccer player Abdelhak ‘Appie’ Nouri, who suffered a cardiac arrhythmia at 20 years of age during a pre-season friendly in 2017, as the stepping off point for examining the use and regulation of genetic testing in sport and the human rights implications of genetic testing child athletes for the purposes of talent identification and performance enhancement. The authors identify recent trends in the use of genetic testing in sport, outline the legal and policy framework that regulates genetic testing in Australia, and consider human rights issues that arise in relation to a child’s decision to undertake or withhold consent for testing.
