Although meningioma is mainly a central nervous system tumor, primary pulmonary meningioma is a rare lung neoplasm located outside the central nervous system. There is no clear consensus on its origin. A 42-year-old female patient, without any pre-diagnosis or symptom, was admitted to our clinic due to an incidentally detected lesion on chest X-ray during routine controls. The lesion in the lower lobe of the left lung was successfully resected by surgical intervention. In this study; primary pulmonary meningioma was examined because of its rarity and presented with the literature data.

The involvement of the ovary in lymphomatous processes is rare. However, in the female genital tract, the ovary is a frequent site to be involved by the hematological malignancies. Involvement of the ovary by malignant lymphoma can be primary or secondary and is discovered incidentally during a workup for abdominal or pelvic complaints. Most commonly occurring ovarian lymphoma is diffuse large B cell type, whereas the Precursor B Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphomas are extremely rare and previously only 5 cases have been reported. Here, we report a case of clinically suspected malignant ovarian tumor involving bilateral ovaries, which was diagnosed as a primary precursor B-LBL after surgery in a young female. This case highlights the need for careful evaluation of radiologic and morphologic features along with an extensive immunohistochemical panel to arrive at the correct final diagnosis to guide the chemotherapy. Keywords: Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma; Primary Ovarian Precursor B-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma; Primary ovarian lymphoma; Primary ovarian tumors

AbstractBurkitt's lymphoma (BL) is a high-grade mature B cell neoplasm. Primary lymphoma of the central nervous system (CNS) is very rare. In contrast, BL can be localized in any part of the body and may spread to the CNS. Peripheral nervous system impairment caused by BL has been thoroughly described. However, Guillain–Barre's syndrome (GBS) does not commonly appear as an initial manifestation of BL. We presented the case of a young child with sporadic BL with neuromeningeal involvement and spinal cord compression whose first clinical manifestation was the appearance of GBS. Lymphoma should be taken into account, especially in children presenting with the clinical features of acute polyradiculoneuropathy.

Abstract Context.—Overwhelmingly, the most common neoplasm involving the pleura is metastatic carcinoma. In contrast, diffuse malignant mesothelioma occurs relatively rarely; however, it is nonetheless the most common neoplasm primary to the pleura. Metastatic carcinoma and diffuse malignant mesothelioma each have their own prognostic and therapeutic characteristics. Other primary pleural neoplasms occur uncommonly or rarely, with their own prognostic and therapeutic characteristics. Objective.—To review primary pleural neoplasms other than diffuse malignant mesothelioma, to better ensure correct diagnosis and optimal assessment of prognosis and treatment. Data Sources.—Literature review and primary material from the authors' institutions. Conclusions.—A nonexhaustive group of uncommon to rare benign and malignant primary pleural neoplasms— other than diffuse malignant mesothelioma—are presented, of which one must be aware in order to maintain an appropriate index of suspicion to include them in the differential diagnosis of a pleural tumor.
