Aim of study: We tested the perceived quality in use of a prototype of a handling supporting device, developed through a user-centred design process intended for rear-mounted foldable rollover protective-structures (FROPSs). Area of study: The study was performed in the Province of Cuneo, which has the largest number of farms and the highest share of utilized agricultural area (UAA) in Piedmont Region, NW Italy Material and methods: Three groups of users, novice-novice (NN), novice-expert (NE) and expert-expert (EE) were asked to raise two rear-mounted FROPSs: a traditional one and a second one equipped with a supporting device which consisted of a gas spring and a rod. A questionnaire has been used to record the perceived quality in use of both FROPSs (effort, physical discomfort, temporal demand and ease of use) and perceived usefulness and attitudes toward the adoption of the supporting device. Main results: All groups reported less physical effort, more stable postures, higher ease of use in handling the FROPS equipped with the supporting device; NN users, in particular, declared to be willing to adopt the supporting device in the future on their tractors when commercially available. Research highlights: Previous studies reported discomfort in operating the FROPS as the main cause of its improper use. A solution to improve FROPS reachability was developed and tested with users. Benefits were perceived by both novice users and expert users.

En el mundo globalizado se requiere contar con ingenieros líderes de proyectos, que puedan realizar labores de evaluadores de proyectos con éxito.  El sistema propuesto permite hacer un análisis comparativo de los diferentes proyectos participantes en eventos de invención, innovación y creatividad, basados en sus características de calidad en uso, funcionalidad y usabilidad, mediante un plan de métricas externas y de calidad en uso.  El modelo está basado en normas internacionales (ISO/IEC 9126, 14598, IEEE 1061) y modelos mexicanos (MECHDAV), y software propuesto, es desarrollado en un ambiente visual WEB, para dispositivos móviles (tabletas), permiten evaluar genéricamente la calidad de los proyectos-productos-servicios que participan en los concursos mencionados; este sistema proporciona un soporte a las personas evaluadoras (jurados) para emitir dictámenes imparciales con mayor precisión cuantitativa. Este sistema está dirigido a organizaciones, empresas y usuarios finales que necesiten seleccionar, fácilmente, los proyectos desarrollados con más calidad, para ser los ganadores en estos concursos. Se proporciona una guía para la instrumentación concreta de la evaluación, así como sus rangos, la presentación, procedimientos y documentación.   In the globalized world, the participation of leading project engineers who can successfully perform project evaluators' work, is required. The proposed system allows to make a comparative analysis of the different projects participating in events of invention, innovation and creativity, based on their characteristics of quality in use, functionality and usability, through a plan of external metrics and quality in use. The model is based on international standards (ISO / IEC 9126, 14598, IEEE 1061) and Mexican models (MECHDAV), and the proposed software is developed in a visual WEB environment for mobile devices (tablets), allow to evaluate the quality generically Of the projects-products-services involved in the aforementioned competitions; This system provides support to evaluators (juries) to issue impartial opinions with greater quantitative accuracy. This system is aimed at organizations, companies and end users who need to easily select the projects developed with the highest quality, to be the winners in these competitions. A guide is provided for the specific instrumentation of the evaluation, as well as its ranks, presentation, procedures and documentation.

Aplikasi e-commerce Shopee merupakan aplikasi yang paling banyak digunakan oleh pengguna internet di Indonesia yaitu sebanyak 11.2% atau 18.8 juta jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kualitas aplikasi e-commerce Shopee dengan model pengukuran kualitas aplikasi berbasis mobile ISO 25010. Metode pengukuran kualitas yang dilakukan adalah dengan membuat test case untuk setiap karakteristik yang mencakup sub karakteristik. Test case tersebut dibagikan kepada responden dengan kriteria tertentu untuk menguji aplikasi. Seluruh hasil pengujian responden dihitung dan diolah menjadi hasil kualitas pada setiap karakteristik. Hasil dari penelitian ini pada dimensi product quality Shopee mencapai 85.36% dari standarisasi 91.37% dan pada dimensi quality in use 77.37% dari 94.75%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan aplikasi Shopee telah memenuhi standarisasi kualitas perangkat lunak yang mengacu pada standarisasi internasional Quality Model ISO 25010.Kata Kunci : Quality Model, ISO 25010, Aplikasi E-commerce Shopee, Pengukuran Kualitas

Intisari— Sistem informasi saat ini telah menjadi bagian penting dalam meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi suatu proses bisnis, sehingga diperlukan suatu pengukuran kualitas perangkat lunak untuk mengetahui sejauh mana sistem dapat menghasilkan informasi yang berkualitas. Dalam melakukan pengukuran kualitas ada beberapa model yang dapat digunakan sebagai panduan dalam melakukan penilaian perangkat lunak. ISO/IEC 25010 merupakan salah satu model kualitas yang dapat digunakan sebagai standar dalam melakukan pengukuran kualitas perangkat lunak. ISO/IEC 25010 terdiri dari software product quality model dan quality in use model. Artikel ini menelaah beberapa literature yang membahas mengenai pengukuran kualitas perangkat lunak yang menggunakan model ISO/IEC 25010. Saat ini ISO/IEC 25010 telah diterapkan untuk menilai kualitas pada sistem informasi akademik, sistem informasi pemerintah dan lembaga swasta, game, mobile application, dan decision support system. Hasil dari penilaian kualitas perangkat lunak dapat ditentukan melalui pengukuran terhadap aspek penting yang dipilih berdasarkan kebutuhan dari setiap perangkat lunak. Selain itu cara pengujian dan pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penilaian dapat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat akurasi dari pengukuran kualitas perangkat lunak.

Open source software (OSS) has recently become very important due to the rapid expansion of the software industry. In order to determine whether the quality of the software can achieve the intended purposes, the components of OSS need to be assessed as they are in closed source (conventional) software. Several quality in-use models have been introduced to evaluate software quality in various fields. The banking sector is one of the most critical sectors, as it deals with highly sensitive data; it therefore requires an accurate and effective assessment of software quality. In this article, two pieces of banking software are compared: one open source and one closed source. A new quality in use model, inspired by ISO/IEC 25010, is used to ensure concise results in the comparison. The results obtained show the great potential of OSS, especially in the banking field.
