Abstract Background Primary Seminal Vesicle (SV) tumours are a rare entity, with most SV masses representing invasion of the SV by malignancy originating in an adjacent organ, most often the prostate. Previously reported primary SV epithelial tumours have included adenocarcinoma and cystadenoma, with limited prior reports of inracystic papillary structures. Case presentation A 35-year-old male presented with azoospermia, intermittent macroscopic haematuria, and mild right iliac fossa and groin pain. A papillary appearing seminal vesicle mass was found on imaging and seminal vesicoscopy. The mass was robotically excised with diagnosis of benign cystic papillary adenoma made. Conclusion In this manuscript we describe a rare case of a benign cystic papillary adenoma of the seminal vesicle, a unique histological entity differentiated from cystadenoma of the Seminal Vesicle by its papillary component.

Gallbladder cancer is a malignant tumor with high mortality. Early diagnosis is significance to improve the prognosis of patients. Gallbladder adenoma is recognized as a kind of precancerous disease, for the past few years, contrast-enhanced ultrasound was used in the diagnosis of biliary tumors. This case is about gallbladder papillary adenoma with carcinogenesis. There is rare literature on the contrast-enhanced ultrasound manifestations of this type of disease. We hope that this report can help improve the recognition of contrast-enhanced ultrasound features and improve the accuracy of early diagnosis of gallbladder cancer.

According to modern scientific literature, among all ovarian tumors, the borderline type occurs from 5 to 15%. This study analyzed the clinical and morphological features and histological variants of borderline types of ovarian tumors. The results of the study showed that among the borderline type of ovarian tumors, serous (46.8%) and mucinous types (42.7%) are more common, while other types, such as endometrioid, mesonephroid, Brenner, and mixed variants make up a low percentage. It was found that serous cystic tumors, in most cases bilateral, common cyst, cystadenoma, papillary adenoma histologically consists of two epithelia, that is, from the mesothelium and secretory cells, it is confirmed that with malignancy, elongated and basaloid cells are metaplastic. It was observed that mucinous borderline tumors were mainly found on one side, disabled adenofibroma, cystoadenomas were filled with mucous contents, monolayer epithelium was metoplasized with stratified epithelium. Among the rare borderline tumors, the endometrioid type, Brenner, mesonephriodal and mixed type were identified.

Papillary adenoma of the lung is a rather rare tumor. We will present a case of papillary adenoma in the lung with malignant transformation in a 65-year-old male patient. A high dense soft tissue mass was detected in the lateral segment of the right middle lobe by CT examination. Cytologically, the tumor contained the benign cells similar to normal alveolar epithelium and the malignant cells which were significantly enlarged and irregular, crowded, or overlapping. Immunohistochemical staining showed that the epithelial cells were diffusely positive for TTF-1, napsin-A, and CK7, but were negative for p63, p40, CK5/6, CgA, Syn, CD56, and TG. The Ki67 index was about 5%. All of these evidences indicated that it was a case of papillary adenoma with malignant transformation. Thus, it should be noted that more active treatment measures should be taken to treat pulmonary papillary adenoma.
