The pandemic of the new coronavirus COVID-19 has switched medicine around the world on the primary fight against this infection. Patients with chronic liver diseases require increased attention of doctors during an epidemic, since against the background of an exacerbation of their disease, not only the risk of contracting the COVID 19 viral infection increases, but also its more severe course. Patients with confirmed COVID-19 with severe liver damage - high biochemical activity. According to some reports, patients with a severe course of COVID-19 have an increase in ALT levels, a decrease in the number of platelets, a decrease in the level of albumin, and a connection (although not all indicators) with a higher risk of mortality is possible.

There have been several outbreaks of antimicrobial resistant (AMR) strains of Salmonella enterica serovar Typhi that cause extensively drug resistant (XDR) typhoid fever in Pakistan. It has been observed that many clinicians use serological diagnostic tests such as Widal agglutination, and TyphiDOT that detects IgM and IgG antibodies against the outer membrane protein of S. Typhi. However, it has been confirmed by many scientists that these test may lead to misdiagnosis against XDR S. Typhi. Due to lack of implementation strategies health authorities are unable to hamper Widal or TyphiDOT tests which are still practiced in many rural and urban areas.

The risk of stroke in diabetic patients is significantly higher than in non-diabetic patients. Appropriate studies on the prevalence and characteristics of the onset of elderly diabetes with stroke in many countries are still lacking. Effective prevention and control still face enormous challenges. Older diabetic patients with osteoporosis need sensible intervention and treatment based on an individualised comprehensive assessment.

Success or failure of implants depends on the health of the person receiving the treatment, drugs which affect the chances of Osseo integration, and the health of the tissues in the mouth. The amount of stress that will be put on the implant and fixture during normal function is also evaluated. Planning the position and number of implants is key to the long-term health of the prosthetic since biomechanical forces created during chewing can be significant.

This research aimed to study the nature of pathomorphological changes in the kidney in chronic alcoholism in rats. In the present study, we have studied experimentally the nature of pathomorphological changes in the kidneys in chronic alcoholism in rats. The longer the intoxication is, the more the kidneys are damaged and homeostatic shifts are more pronounced in young animals. In an experiment on rats, it was found that taking ethanol orally has a short-term effect on kidney tissue and affects water-salt metabolism. Histologically, there are foci of acute inflammation of nephrocytes, spasm of small arterioles, and on the 15th day, atrophic changes in the renal parenchyma. Long-term alcohol intoxication (AIM) leads to persistent morphological disorders of the nephron, which are manifested in changes in the shape and size of the glomerulus, partial sclerosis of loops, vacuolar dystrophy of endothelial cells and partial vacuolar dystrophy of the tubular epithelium, especially the distal part.

The study of the literature has shown that the morphological status of the thymus has been studied superficially in many works. The cellular composition of the thymus parts under the influence of physical or chemical environmental factors in the age aspect has not been studied enough. All this requires a more detailed study of the morphological changes occurring in this organ under the influence of various factors.

In this work, the morphofunctional state has been studied at various times after the simulation of experimental syphilis. It is noted that discirculatory and dystrophic changes develop in the early stages of the study. The appearance of focal and massive necrosis of hepatocytes is accompanied by the development of an inflammatory process in the form of lymphoid infiltration around necrosis and hypertrophy of Kupffer cells. Subsequently, lymphohistiocytic infiltration spreads along the portal tracts, in which plasma cells and eosinophils appear, which are characteristic of syphilitic inflammation.

"One picture is worth a thousand words" - Frederic Bernard Currently, many dentists use a camera in their daily practice, turning into photographers for a while. In aesthetic dentistry, the main tool for diagnosis and communication is the art and practice of obtaining a photo. The use of dental photography is the standard of modern dental treatment, since photographs of the results of treatment facilitate understanding of the features of dental intervention. And most importantly, visualization increases the motivation of the patient and promotes the establishment of friendly relations between him and the doctor.
