China is one of the most serious national which does harm to geological disasters, and the geological disasters have effect on China’s economy. Therefore, the effective evaluation for the economic losses caused by geological disasters has some reference value. This paper mainly introduces the geological disaster economic losses structure drawing and evaluated methods which include human capital method, shadow valuation method, market valuation method, investigation appraisal method and coefficient of proportionality method, and analyzes different economic losses should adopt different appraisal method. And take the Qianjiangping landslide for instant, this paper introduces how to evaluate landslide disasters economic loss. The idea and method have certain guiding significance to geological disaster economic losses evaluation.

Reservoir landslide is a severe geological hazard which is caused by the hydrodynamic change due to rainfall and fluctuation of reservoir level. The hydrodynamic change and its influence on landslide stability of Qianjiangping landslide before and after impoundment of the Three Gorges Reservoir are studied combining with its hydrogeological structure. There are two relatively independent hydrogeological units on both sides of the slipband. Before impoundment, the outlet of groundwater under slipband is above the river level, the supply and discharge of groundwater is in equilibrium, and the excess pore water pressure at the bottom of slipband is smaller or not exists. After impounding, the outlet of groundwater is under reservoir level and the discharge of groundwater is hindered, so the excess pore water pressure at the bottom of slipband will rises and the safety factor of the landslide will decreases. Combing with other factors, the stability of the landslide will further decreases and lead to landslide failure finally.

Qianjiangping landslide, which occurred in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, is one of the serious landslide disasters in this area after impounding. Based on site investigation, and investigation of the related reference materials and analyzing the origin caused this disaster we think the special geological and geomorphic conditions and concentrated rainfall are the main factors. Some suggestions on engineering treatment technology, the measures of nature restoring vegetation and ecology restoring vegetation, which are useful to the landslide treatment of analogous project, are put forward---That is, for happened landslide and potential dangerous areas it is necessary to do hill’s drainage and slope protection; the method for natural restoration vegetation is to close the mountains for natural afforestation to reduce the human interference; and the way for ecological restoration vegetation is to restore and rehabilitate Eco-economic vegetation.
