Introduction. Levels of alexithymia and psychosocial adaptation can influence on the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with substance use disorders. The investigation of the state of the adaptation system is often used to examine these patients, despite its complexity and multilevel character. It is still unclear what characteristics of psychosocial adaptation may indicate increasing level of alexithymia. Therefore the aim of this study is to investigate their association for future prediction of alexithymia level in men with substance use disorders. Methods. We examined 28 men who took the treatment at the detoxication therapy stage. We studied severity of alexithymia by Russian version of the Toronto Alexithymia Scale and analyzed peculiarities of psycho-social adaptation by C.R. Rogers and R.F. Dymond methods. To analyze the dependence between variances, multiple linear regression with Akaike information criteria and stepwise variable method was used. Results. The average level of alexithymia in the subjects was 57.6 ± 14.1 scores: it points out an elevated severity of the condition. The patients have “difficulty identifying feelings” at 18.9±6.6 scores, “difficulty describing feelings” at 13.7±4.9 scores and “externally oriented thinking” at 25.04±5.4 scores. The average levels of the subscales of the psychosocial adaptation questionnaire demonstrate no difference from normal values, but integral indices were increased. After stepwise variable method we selected the minimum set of factor characteristics associated with the original variable. Two factors related to the level of alexithymia were identified: internality and emotional comfort. The analysis shows the adequacy of the linear two-factor model for predicting the level of alexithymia in men with substance use disorders that based on values of internality and emotional comfort. Conclusion. We found that increased level of internality and emotional comfort in men with substance use disorders can predict an elevating level of alexithymia.

In this paper, a conservative compact difference scheme for the generalized Kawahara equation is constructed based on the scalar auxiliary variable (SAV) approach. The discrete conservative laws of mass and Hamiltonian energy and boundedness estimates are studied in detail. The error estimates in discrete $L^{\infty}$-norm and $L^2$-norm of the presented scheme are analyzed by using the discrete energy method. We give an efficiently algorithm of the presented scheme which only needs to solve two decoupled equations.

In order to ensure the dehydration effect of the whole tailings backfill, a dehydration model of the whole tailings backfill was established based on hydrodynamics on the basis of satisfying certain assumptions, and the theoretical solution was carried out. The control variable method is used to study the variation of dewatering capacity with dewatering depth and radius, and the applicability of the dewatering model is verified by experiments. The results show that the dewatering capacity increases with the increase of dewatering radius and decreases with the increase of dewatering depth by a quadratic polynomial. By comparing the experimental values with the theoretical ones, it is found that the variation law of the dewatering capacity with radius is the same and increases with the increase of dewatering depth. The reason is that the content of fine particles in the unclassified tailings is large and the filter hole on the branch pipe is blocked under the action of the hydrodynamic force. Therefore, the dewatering effect of the new root-like dehydration tube can be guaranteed by using the branch pipe arranged at the full height of main dewatering pipe. The dehydration model is modified by the test results to ensure the applicability.

The study aimed to identify the impact of games and electronic activities in improving visual perception in students with learning disabilities using the descriptive survey curriculum study.   The study members are from the entire community of 160 teachers and a teacher of doctors with learning disabilities of education directorates in The Province of Oman.  The results showed that the level of impact of games and electronic activities in improving visual perception in students with learning difficulties has come with an average result. The average arithmetic of the total degree (3.66), as well as the results, showed statistically significant differences in the impact of the sex variable and for females, the effect of the variable scientific qualification, and for the benefit of the bachelor. The impact of the variable years of experience and in favor of experience from (5years to 10 years) and the effect of the variable method of teaching came in favor of the electronic method.
