Abstract For the existing service-oriented software single, favors business processing, cannot guarantee the software business processing into the development of software. When the operator encounters operational problems, software failure problems and other problems related to software operation and operation, software development technicians to provide technical support to ensure the software’s business processing functions. This study will move away from dependence on other software and provide technical support to business software operators accurately and in a timely manner to effectively solve the problems that operators may encounter.

We live in a time when communication technologies are already a part of our daily lives. The technological aspect of education has always been defining in the preparation of students in primary school and high school, especially in the XXI century. In the last few years, and in particular during the COVID pandemic, information technology has been the main tool for teaching, conducting discussions on various topics and issues, conducting tests and examinations, and communication between the main beneficiaries: teachers, students and their parents. Many multi-platform applications have been created, making access to electronic resources on the web much easier. The variety of learning materials can be viewed on any device: computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Educational institutions have managed to adequately and timely adapt to e-learning by changing and adapting traditional school teaching. The software business invests significant funds and resources in the development of communication technologies for educational purposes, due to which students were able to be sufficiently prepare for their school subjects. This was proven by all the exams and competitions, which were successfully conducted in this extraordinary epidemiological situation.

Software development involves several interrelated factors that influence development efforts and productivity. Improving the estimation techniques available to project managers will facilitate more effective time and budget control in software development. Software Effort Estimation or software cost/effort estimation can help a software development company to overcome difficulties experienced in estimating software development efforts. This study aims to compare the Machine Learning method of Linear Regression (LR), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Radial Basis Function (RBF), and Decision Tree Random Forest (DTRF) to calculate estimated cost/effort software. Then these five approaches will be tested on a dataset of software development projects as many as 10 dataset projects. So that it can produce new knowledge about what machine learning and non-machine learning methods are the most accurate for estimating software business. As well as knowing between the selection between using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for attributes selection and without PSO, which one can increase the accuracy for software business estimation. The data mining algorithm used to calculate the most optimal software effort estimate is the Linear Regression algorithm with an average RMSE value of 1603,024 for the 10 datasets tested. Then using the PSO feature selection can increase the accuracy or reduce the RMSE average value to 1552,999. The result indicates that, compared with the original regression linear model, the accuracy or error rate of software effort estimation has increased by 3.12% by applying PSO feature selection

The article summarizes the last 30 years of the M&A market in the software industry. The authors verify a hypothesis if the takeover strategy is still effective and promising. A dataset of over 18,000 transactions was analyzed. It has been noticed that while company valuations and the S&P 500 index have been increasing over the last decade, the frequency of transactions in the software industry has decreased.

O estudo busca compreender se o uso do software Business Intelligence através de relatórios em dashboards, onde evidenciam indicadores em KPI’s, são capazes de promover insights estratégicos que aprimorem a eficácia nas decisões gerenciais da área jurídica. Adotou-se como aporte empírico ao estudo, uma empresa de advocacia localizada na cidade de Uberlândia-MG, considerando-a como estudo de caso único. Trata-se de uma prestadora de serviços jurídicos pesquisada no ano de 2018, que contempla dentre seus instrumentos gerenciais o uso do software através da plataforma Power BI Desktop na versão 2.61 disponibilizado pela Microsoft®. A partir de dashboards, buscou-se investigar se o mesmo permite não somente decisões rápidas como também insights estratégicos para os gestores. Como resultado observado, constatou-se que os gestores da área de advocacia atribuem-se de excelentes indicadores dinâmicos, consistentes e em tempo real, possibilitando-os a melhor tomada de decisão e obtenção de indicadores que auxiliem na elaboração estratégica da empresa, cooperando, portanto, com a lucratividade da entidade. Tais indicadores observados no software, decorre da base de dados da organização, que evidencia as principais informações jurídicas em forma de KPI’s e configurado em dashboards.
