The change of plans on gradually development in building structure can be occur with building operational consideration and owner financial. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of performance of the reinforced concrete frame structure with additional levels using steel structures with different span variations. The results of the analysis are used to determine how big the deviation is between levels and to control the level of structure performance. The conclusion of the study shows that the performance level of the structural model analyzed is immediate occupancy (IO) with a total drift ratio and interstorey drift ratio value of the initial building structure (C3S0) in the x direction and y direction of 0.0004, and for variations in building structure with the addition of levels using steel structures (C3S1, C3S2, C5S1, C5S2, C7S1, C7S2) in the x direction ranging from 0.0005-0.0007 and in the y direction ranging from 0.0010-0.0024.

In order to study the degradation law and seismic performance of reinforced concrete frame structure with the extension of service time under normal service environment, the multi-scale modeling of corroded reinforced concrete frame is carried out by using the general finite element analysis software ABAQUS. The correctness of the multi-scale modeling method is verified by the experimental data of corroded reinforced concrete members and single frame. The pushover analysis and elastic-plastic time history analysis of a four story reinforced concrete frame structure are carried out by using a multi-scale model. Then the seismic response and damage of RC frame structures with different service time are compared. The experimental results show that the established seismic performance model of reinforced concrete frame structure is more practical in practical application and can meet the research requirements.

Abstract: Mahara Hotel is a tourism-supporting facility and infrastructure first established in Central Aceh District in 1999. This 3-story hotel used a reinforced concrete frame structure, and as time goes by, the service capacity of the building would decrease. This condition was suspected to affect quality and user convenience. Anticipate the older age of the building, and better maintenance management is applied so that the proper building’s function can be maintained. The purpose of this study was to assess the reliability of 20 year-established hotel buildings. The method was a descriptive analysis. Data were analyzed based on the guidelines of Technical Procedures for Guidelines for Certificate of Eligibility for Functions (SLF) of Buildings Regulation of  Minister of Public Works No. 25/PRT/M/2007. Based on the results, the reliability value of the Mahara Hotel building was unreliable (66.75 %), less than the SLF guidelines (at least 75 %). Some components that caused a low level of reliability to include utility and fire protection components (20.34 %) and accessibility components (3.11 %). The effective and efficient component in increasing the reliability of the building was the utility and fire protection components by not requiring major demolition.Abstrak: Hotel Mahara merupakan sarana dan prasarana penunjang pariwisata yang pertama kali berdiri di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah pada tahun 1999. Hotel berlantai 3 ini menggunakan struktur rangka beton bertulang dan seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, daya layan gedung akan semakin menurun. Kondisi ini ditenggarai akan mempengaruhi kualitas dan kenyamanan pengguna. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut, maka semakin tua umur bangunan, seharusnya didukung dengan penerapan manajemen pemeliharaan yang baik agar kelayakan fungsi dari bangunan dapat dipertahankan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menilai keandalan bangunan hotel setelah berumur 20 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Data dianalisis berdasarkan panduan Teknis Tata Cara Pedoman Sertifikat Laik Fungsi (SLF) Bangunan Gedung Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 25/PRT/M/2007. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai keandalan bangunan gedung Hotel Mahara termasuk tidak andal yaitu sebesar 66.75 %, kurang dari yang dipersyaratkan oleh pedoman SLF tersebut yaitu minimal 75 %. Beberapa komponen yang menyebabkan rendahnya tingkat keandalan anatara lain komponen utilitas dan proteksi kebakaran sebesar 20.34 % serta komponen aksesibilitas sebesar 3.11 %. Komponen yang efektif serta efisien dalam menaikkan tingkat keandalan bangunan gedung tersebut adalah komponen utilitas dan proteksi kebakaran dengan tidak mengharuskan pembongkaran yang besar.

In this paper, the seismic performance of a prefabricated frame structure with a local outsource steel tube bolted column–column connect is evaluated from the perspective of seismic vulnerability theory. Firstly, a simplified model of the prefabricated frame structure was constructed and validated by experiments. Then, a six-story prefabricated reinforced concrete frame structure (PRCS) and a cast-in-situ reinforced concrete frame structure (CRCS) were designed as examples to get the increment dynamic analysis (IDA) of the structure under 12 ground motions, and the two-parameter damage model was used as the structural requirement index. As a traditional structural requirement index-the maximum inter-storey drift angle cannot accurately describe the mechanism of structural damage. Therefore, two types of damage models are compared and analyzed. In addition, in order to evaluate the damage of frame structure effectively, a new damage index weighted combination method is proposed, and its feasibility is verified. Finally, the IDA curve and vulnerability curve with Kunnath two-parameter damage model and the maximum inter-story displacement angle as the requirement index are drawn. The results show that the two-parameter damage model is more accurate than the maximum inter-storey drift angle model in evaluating the seismic performance of the PRCS and CRCS. It shows that the maximum inter-story displacement angle model can overestimate the collapse resistance of the PRCS by 60.7% on average, and the collapse resistance of the CRCS by 75.67% on average. The seismic performance of the CRCS is better than that of the PRCS as the seismic intensity increases. Although the seismic performance of fabricated columns is similar to that of cast-in-place columns, there is still a certain gap in the seismic performance of frame structures.
