This paper offers an argument for the need to providing further research on improving energy efficiency and searching for modern management methods based on the university energy innovation knowledge hub. The findings have revealed that the specific energy consumption in the Ukrainian economy is unjustifiably higher than that of other European countries and countries with transitive economies. It is noted that economic losses are becoming increasingly apparent in the context of high cost of imported energy resources, low level of energy security, incompetitiveness of industries and significant environmental wastes. The research methodology entails the principle of studying and summarizing factual data on enhancing energy management and quality management systems, as well as the university documentation. To attain the research agenda, the following methods have been employed: the system and structural analysis techniques, management theory, methods of diagnostics and identification, graph theory as well as energy balance methods. The study presents a mechanism of energy efficiency and energy saving management based on the university energy innovation knowledge hub. The findings demonstrate that such a mechanism is able to overcome the rejection by economic actors of innovation technologies in general and energy efficient technologies in particular. The proposed mechanism of energy efficiency and energy saving management based on the university energy innovation hub challenges the implementation of specific economic measures that should include such elements as incentives (motivators) for energy saving, energy market infrastructure and energy efficient technology, energy projects funding sources and tools. The conclusions resume that in modern realia, higher education institutions should promote a shift from a formally declared energy saving policy towards a University energy efficiency economy pattern as an energy autonomy driver, building a strategy for combining indicative and market functions in ensuring energy efficiency.

Real-time Brain IoT Systems are costly. But, developing a cheaper system has been accelerated greatly by the better research that is being done on Virtual Brain. The death of an important person on a secret mission is consider sensitive information and must be handled with as much security as possible. By ensuring this discreteness, the time taken for the message of their death to reach the relevant authority is increased to up to a few days. The time taken to deliver the message is too much. These days, the improvements in hardware increasing the abilities of the Virtual brain and of the wearable Brain IoT sensors have made the development of numerous new software frameworks possible for the developers to create useful applications that combine the human brain with IoT. Multiple sensory pathways are also enabled for communications of the human brain with larger sized data.The main aim of this project is to upload confidential documents onto the clouds securely as possible. Knowledge on how every individual thinks and recalls memory is found by the Virtual cerebrum undertaking. Both of the mentioned fields have been accelerated greatly in terms of development by these researches. This will in turn drive the need of an energy-efficient technology that supports the wider demands of the IoT. The brain activity extraction in IoT has been surveyed thoroughly in this project. This includes IoT models based on Electroencephalogram (EEG), machine learning and the current active platforms. The main findings of our survey highlights three major trends of development in the virtual brain development system, viz, IoT, EEGand cloud computing.Since the human body has a the low frequency range of 7Hz or below 7Hz, it cannot be detected by the EEG sensor. So, the wearable EEG sensor has a band that goes around the head. Once the individual is dead, the confidential information that is securely stored in the cloud can be sent to the mail id that was pre-registered by the user without any delay. This system is very time efficient.

Passive solar distillation is cheap and energy-efficient technology but its main disadvantage is low productivity. Thus, there are many attempts to improve solar stills’ productivity, and one of them is changing the mass of the water. This paper presents the results of validation of the thermal processes modeling in a solar still (SS). In order to validate the model, the experimental studies were conducted in a laboratory to ensure uniform climatic conditions. The studies were carried out for 10 kg, 15 kg, and 20 kg of water under three different solar irradiance conditions. The results show that 10 kg and 20 kg of water ensure the highest and the lowest daily productivity, respectively, independently of solar irradiance. When the water mass is 10 kg, the solar still’s productivity is 800 mL/m2/day, 3732 mL/m2/day, and 9392 mL/m2/day for low, medium, and high solar irradiance, respectively. Additionally, it is found that reducing the water mass from 20 kg to 10 kg can improve solar still’s productivity by a maximum value of 21.6%, which is obtained for low solar irradiance. The proposed mathematical model allows predicting the performance of the SS. The results of the theoretical calculations are in good agreement with the results of the experiments. The minimum and maximum deviation between the actual and theoretical productivity of the SS is 1.1% and 8.3%, respectively.

As a part of China’s energy conservation and emission reduction policy system, the China Energy Label plays an important role in promoting energy-efficient technology progress and product sales. In this article, we comprehensively review China’s energy labeling policy portfolio, consisting of the Energy-Efficiency Label Management Approach, the financial subsidy, and “top runner” programs. To evaluate the effectiveness of the energy labeling policy portfolio, we further analyze the influence of the energy labeling policy portfolio on the electricity consumption of household appliances. According to our results, the China Energy Label played an active role in slowing the growth rate of residential electricity consumption during 2007–2010, but its effectiveness was not satisfactory in the period 2011–2012. The reasons and countermeasures are discussed herein to address this problem. Moreover, to further enhance the effectiveness of the China Energy Label, policy implications are proposed for long-term successful implementation.
