In every new technology developed and introduced to the manufacturing floor, particularly in the wafer preparation, entails problems that later induce defects affecting the wafer yield. This paper discusses the optimization of wafer preparation parameters, particularly the tensionless backgrinding tape lamination and DAF cut vacuum control, that mitigates wafer yield detractors such as edge cut, kerf shift and dice pop-out. Based on the evaluation results, tensionless backgrinding lamination affects the kerf shifting and edge cutting, and with proper vacuum control to attain zero dice pop-out process.

PT. X merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi kertas. Salah satu seksi indukX adalah bagian Stock Preparation. Stock Preparation mempunyai tugas fundamental, yaitu mengubah wastepaper menjadi pulp atau bubur kertas sebelum menjadi produk jadi yaitu kertas. Kualitas air merupakan salah satuhal terpenting dalam Stock Preparation 1, baik itu berupa air proses maupun air limbah. Di Stock Preparation,parameter penilaian kualitas air limbah dapat dilihat dari jumlah Total Suspended Solid (TSS) yang terkandung didalam sewer. Data yang digunakan untuk kualitas air pada Total Suspended Solid di Stock Preparation 1 denganmenggunakan metode Control Chart yaitu merupakan salah satu dari alat QC 7 tools (7 alat pengendalian kualitas)yang berbentuk grafik dan dipergunakan untuk memonitor atau memantau stabilitas dari suatu proses sertamempelajari perubahan proses dari waktu ke waktu. Tujuannya agar air yang dibuang ke lingkungan tidakmencemari lingkungan sekitar. Hasil yang di peroleh menggunakan metode ini, sebesar 1606 mg/L dan tergolongkedalam golongan yang tidak mencemari lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah data out of control yaitu padadata ke – 8 yang disebabkan karena nilai konsentrasi TSS yang tinggi (melebihi standar yang ditetapkan).Penyebabkonsentrasi TSS tinggi adalah pompa ada yang bocor sehingga air masuk ke sewer, Line Production Stop karenatangki penyaringan dikuras, overflow yaitu kelebihan aliran air di dalam tangki sehingga output tidak keluar danscreen (Penyaring) jenis STS mengalami PLUG, dalam kata lain saringan tersumbat.

AbstractIn the present research, titanium nanotubes were synthesized via the soft hydrothermal method. A study on the effect of the synthesizing parameters such as aging temperature and time of the hydrothermal process on the photocatalytic paraquat degradation was explored. Central Composite Design (CCD) was used to determine the influence of the preparation parameter on the optimal condition, main and interaction effects on crystalline size, percent paraquat removal by adsorption and photocatalytic degradation as responses. The XRD pattern of the synthesized nanomaterial reported the anatase phase of titania nanotubes. SEM image of the prepared nanomaterial clearly indicated the agglomerated with tubular structure. Band gap energy of the nanotubes was found lower than that of the pure anatase TiO

Polyvinylalcohol (PVA) with good solvent resistance was used in preparation of nanofiltration membrane. The preparation parameter such as PVA concentration, cross-linking agent concentration and reaction time are studied in detail. When the composite membrane was prepared under optimized conditions and tested at 0.4 MPa and 20 °C, the flux of the NF membrane was about 15 L/m2h and the Na2SO4 rejection of it was about 53.3%.

Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) sodium with negatively charged character was used as functional layer of polyetherimide (PEI) ultrafiltration membrane. The preparation parameter such as CMC concentration, cross-linking agent concentration and curing temperature are studied in detail. When the composite membrane was prepared under optimized conditions and tested at 0.4 MPa and 20 °C, the flux of the composite NF membrane was about 3 L/m2h and the MgCl2 rejection of it was about 87%. The composite membrane showed classical negatively charged membrane character which had higher rejection to high valent anion.

ABSTRACTInkjet printing is a highly material-efficient solution deposition technique that enables the preparation of thin-film libraries using little amounts of materials. As a reproducible and precise patterning technique inkjet printing can be integrated into a combinatorial screening workflow that allowed the systematic characterization of thin-film properties of newly developed materials as well as the methodical investigation of preparation parameter that influence the performance of the inkjet printed layers.This contribution provides a demonstration of a combinatorial screening workflow that utilizes inkjet printing to evaluate structure-property relationships of polymer/fullerene blends for the application in organic photovoltaics. Using this approach it is shown that optimized blend compositions as well as printing conditions lead to improved performances of organic solar cell devices.
