Background: Pervious studies have reported impaired performance, sleepiness and sleep deprivation among night workers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of color Screen Light Filtering software on cognitive performance, alertness and sleep quality among night shift operators of a medical emergency operations center. Methods: This field trial interventional study was carried out among 30 nightshift operators of Shiraz emergency control center. The baseline assessments were carried out under the existing computer screen light conditions in the week preceding the installation of f.lux software. The same measurements were repeated again 4 weeks after installing the software. The cognitive performance of the participants was measured using continuous performance test (CPT) and n-back, while their sleep quality was assessed through Pietersburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Further, to assess their subjective and objective alertness, Stanford sleepiness index and go/no go test were used, respectively. Results: The results of this study showed that Screen Light Filtering software significantly increased subjective (P < 0.001) and objective alertness (P < 0.05). Additionally, the performance of the working memory (P = 0.008) and sleep quality (P = 0.008) improved significantly after the intervention. Conclusion: The results revealed that using Screen Light Filtering software is an effective and low-cost method to improve sleep quality and cognitive performance since it filters the short wavelength part of the spectrum and helps body adaptation.

Laptops have become an important requirement for most students is to support educational activities and business activities. The number of brands of laptops or types of laptops that exist makes consumers especially students have their own preferences in choosing a laptop. The method can be used to select the favorite laptop are SAW (Simple Additive weighting) and WP (Weighted Product). Both of these methods are the methods used to solve the problem of MADM (Multi Attribute Decision Making). There are 30 types of laptops that will be used in the selection of the favorite laptops.For the selection criteria for the type of laptop that is priced, RAM (Random Access Memory), HDD (hard drive), a processor, a VGA (Video Graphics Array), weight, color, screen size, service centers, warranty, availability of spare parts, battery capacity, equipped with OS and application software. Selection of the favorite type of laptop is done with the help of MATLAB (Graphical User Interface) GUI (Matrix Laboratory) as a computing tool. SAW method and WP, in this research showed the same results that the most favored type of laptop laptop mode DEL INSPIRON 15Z-5523 with a value preference for SAW method amounted to 0.9518 while the WP method amounted to 0.9511.Keywords: SAW, WP, Laptop, favorite, GUI

To solve the effect that the multi threading task can be achieved by the TFT of color screen, we adopt MSP430F5438 as the main controller, the main equipment of its hardware system was built by the TFT of touch screen, and the task driving function was completed by using buttons and wireless communication module and other peripherals. And we have developed the application program based on UC/OS operating system utility with the kernel structure and characteristics of UC/OS. It can be realized these function, such as digital tube display, TFT display task, multi-tasking, wireless communication, the task driving system, touch screen and low power verification task. The experimental results show that it completely meets the desired design goals, it works reliable and stable.
