Cases of plagiarism in recent years has been an issues. Based on that issues, this research will create a system to detect similarity in a text. There is an aspect as reference of the research that is analyze the plagiarism algorithm. This research will analyze the accuracy one of plagiarism check algorithm, winnowing algorithm. Winnowing algorithm is a plagiarism detection algorithm based on document fingerprinting. To calculate percentage similarity of document fingerprinting in text, there are 3 methods to measure similarity that will be used in this research, which is jaccard similarity coefficient, sorensen dice similarity coefficient, and berg similarity coefficient.

A sentence contains some constituent elements. Those elements have its own function. The four main elements in Bahasa Indonesia are subject, predicate, object, and prepositional phrase. The structure of this sentence often mixed up while determining those elements. This research aims to help people who confused to determined what are the constituent element in a sentence. The sentence can be inputted and the program identified the sentence that inputted. It started by separating the sentence into words and put it inside the cyk matrix table. After that, the program will identify if each word has some degree of similarity with any of constituent element characteristic. The program showed what are the constituent elements of the sentence. It will be shown for the words for each element and the rules that used to determined it. So the people can figure the constietuent element.

Hydroponic is one of growing plant method without soil. It uses water as the planting media. As of this writing, hydroponic method is quite popular in Indonesia because it is more hygienic, more results, more environmentally friendly at a lower cost production. Hydroponic life depends on the nutrients in the water. One of the most important of the hydroponic method is pH level of the water. The standard of pH level which used to grow a plant is in the range of 5.5 to 6.5. To balance the standard of pH level, liquid for increasing and decreasing pH level are needed, but it is difficult to measure the pH level on the standard range while adding the water. Based on this problem, this project will develop an automated device for mixing pH up and pH down liquid so the level of pH will be keep in the desire range using pH sensor and Arduino microcontroller.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a method for computer to process an image that contains some text and then try to find any characters in that image, then convert it to digital text. In this research, Advanced Local Binary Pattern and Chain Code algorithm will be tested to identify alphabets in the image. Several method image preprocessing are also needed, such as image transformation, image rescaling, grayscale conversion, edge detection and edge thinning.

The lack of fire department makes it hard for most people to contact where the nearest fire department to the scene. Furethermore, when the fire department location was founded it is still a challenge for the fire fighters to find exact location of the fire. For this reason, we used sensitive sensors of fire to the flame. The project used arduino uno microcontrollers, fire sensors, Neo-7m Ublox GPS, ESP8266, and wavecom. As soon as the flame sensor detects the flame, ESP8266 will send the gps data from the home location to the web server www.thingspeak.com which then data from thingspeak is taken to do the nearest distance search using the method of Haversine Formula then send the sms using wavecom sms gammu gameway to the firefighter the nearest fire. The final result of this project shows that the flame sensor can detect a flame of about 75 cm, the GPS accuracy level approaches 100%, ESP8266 can transmit data to Thingspeak by about 20 seconds, accuracy method of accurate formula accuracy calculates Distance near 100% SMS Gateway Wavecom sends sms less than 10 seconds.

In this modern era, there are many algorithms that can be used to classify the weather, one of this algorithms is Backpropagation. Using Backpropagation, this research were using temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed, rain and clouds as input parameters. And the output are clear, clouds and rain. Backpropagation consists of learning process and testing process. The learning process is to get optimal weight and testing process is to test the classification using the optimal weight from learning process. Data that was used in this research are 1600 data (80%) for learning process and 400 data (20%) for testing process. This research using Backpropagation with 1, 2 and 3 hidden layer to examine the accuracy result of weather classification. As a result, there is no significant changes of percentage accuracy on Backpropagation with 1, 2 and 3 hidden layers. But, the more number of hidden layer it used, the more epoch it requires.

GPU or Graphic Processing Unit can be used on many platforms in general GPUs are used for rendering graphics but now GPUs are general purpose parallel processors with support for easily accessible programming interfaces and industry standard languages such as C, Python and Fortran. In this study, the authors will compare CPU and GPU for completing some matrix calculation. To compare between CPU and GPU, the authors have done some testing to observe the use of Processing Unit, memory and computing time to complete matrix calculations by changing matrix sizes and dimensions. The results of tests that have been done shows asynchronous GPU is faster than sequential. Furthermore, thread for GPU needs to be adjusted to achieve efficiency in GPU load.
