In modern realities, the issues of ensuring the personnel security of the municipality are of particular importance. Personnel security is a necessary component of any organization, including a municipality. In relation to the municipality, this issue is particularly relevant. There is an increase in the regulatory legal acts regulating the issues of ensuring personnel security. The article identifies the main tools for ensuring the personnel security of the municipality: selection and selection of personnel, loyalty and reliability, control, as well as various methods for assessing the personnel security of the municipality. It is concluded that the correct use of assessment methods can significantly improve the objectivity and reliability of the data, and, consequently, the personnel security of the municipality.
