The author attempts to formulate the term "self-employed" taking into account the socio-economic aspect.

Ensuring the Personnel Security of the Municipality

In modern realities, the issues of ensuring the personnel security of the municipality are of particular importance. Personnel security is a necessary component of any organization, including a municipality. In relation to the municipality, this issue is particularly relevant. There is an increase in the regulatory legal acts regulating the issues of ensuring personnel security. The article identifies the main tools for ensuring the personnel security of the municipality: selection and selection of personnel, loyalty and reliability, control, as well as various methods for assessing the personnel security of the municipality. It is concluded that the correct use of assessment methods can significantly improve the objectivity and reliability of the data, and, consequently, the personnel security of the municipality.

Legal Regulation of the Sphere of Prevention and Suppression of Ethnic and National Conflicts

In the course of the study of the problems of legal regulation of the ethno-conflict sphere, the author of the article conducted a survey (using the methods of questionnaires and in-depth interviews) of 20 experts who are highly qualified specialists in the field of countering ethno-national conflicts, studied the results of mass sociological research, analyzed scientific works and media publications. As a result, the most effective legal measures for regulating the prevention and suppression of ethnic and national conflicts were identified, and the main directions for their improvement in the interests of strengthening the Russian statehood were identified.
