The main aim of this paper is to demonstrate that clusters can support the sustainable development of rural areas through the creation of shared value. This is done via the close exam-ination of six different cases of rural clusters in Greece, Italy, Germany, Poland, Denmark, and Sweden. Qualitative as well as quantitative data weretaken from the clusters, which demonstrated that their main business approaches naturally coincided with the creation of economic, social, and environmental benefits for the local communities in which they operated. The case clusters were created in a top-down manner, aimed at boosting regional R&D activities and making the local economy more competitive and more sustainable. However, private initiative took over and al-lowed these clusters to flourish because meeting the regions’ economic, social, and environmental needs successfully coincided with the target of the clusters’ own development and profitability. The results show that clusters, with their potential for shared value creation, can constitute a powerful engine for the revitalisation and development of rural areas, addressing the significant challenges which they are currently facing.

This paper presents a survey study of how social innovation moderates social and economic value from the perspective of shared value creation. Specifically, the study addresses the following questions: Does economic value lead to social value creation in shared value creation? Does social innovation moderate social and economic value in the creation of shared value? The questions are addressed through an empirical investigation of 250 social enterprise organizations that apply social objectives and a market-based approach to attain social and economic goals in Ghana. The study used SmartPLS software version 3.0 to evaluate the data collected. The results indicated that economic value influences the creation of social value in shared value creation. Study results also revealed that social innovation is a driver of shared value creation via social value in the educational sector of Ghana. However, social innovation could not play a moderating role in economic value to shared value creation.

The main focus of this article is to critically analyse the associations between crime against women, gender neutrality and attainment of SDG 5 within the multicultural complex context of India. The article argues that to achieve gender equality and neutrality, changes must be made at the level of policy that empowers not only women but also the other genders. This has to be mainstreamed within policy making, by institutions and someday as a part of CSR through the creation of a shared value approach. The article argues that gender equality is not just about women's empowerment but also about empowering all other genders. For making its case, this article gives a detailed analysis of women's empowerment laws and goes on to make a case for the gender equality and neutrality by challenging the binary of man versus woman. The article makes a narrative about the imperative need of pushing gender neutrality in order to attain SDG-5 and sustainability in the middle of the unequal power relationship within every segment and sector of societies with complex cultural, class, caste divide and other inequities.

Abstract: Pantun is one of the important mediums in the Malay civilization. Through pantun, various values have been applied as tools for reprimanding, advising and teaching among members of society. The value of Malay civilization found in this pantun is not limited only by the pantun produced by the Malay community, but also in the creation of pantun by non-Malay communities such as Peranakan Baba. The Peranakan Baba community is a Chinese subetnik resulting from social interaction with the Malays. This means that Peranakan Baba has undergone acculturation process with the value of the Malay community. This shared value aspect can be seen through the creation of pantun by the Peranakan Baba community. This study will focus on aspects of the value of Malay civilization found in the pantun Peranakan Baba. The main objective of this study is to identify and list the values of the dominant Malay civilization used in the Peranakan Baba pantun. In addition, the acculturation process applied between the Malay community and Peranakan Baba will also be subject to research. This study uses the method of analysis of the meaning of the words and sentences found in the pantun chosen through the book "Pantun Pilihan Baban Negeri Selat Negeri, 1910-1930" compiled by Ding Choo Ming. The results of the study found that there was an acculturation process that occurred in the Peranakan Baba society through the pantun studied. The data obtained is important as a fundamental record for a more detailed study of Peranakan Baba in Malaysia. The implications of the study will lead to the formation of the value of togetherness among the various races found in Malaysia.
