Once upon a time, there was a "Cheapest Supply House on Earth". During the late 1970's, its annual revenue would at times make up about 1% of the U.S. GDP. From 1973-1998, it had the tallest building in the world. However, how did an American icon slowly but surely become stained? Analyzing its collapse allows businesses to look at the importance of constantly assessing how the market is everchanging, and finding new approaches and techniques to stay competitive and advanced. With corporate social responsibility, a supply chain in the new era of enterprise e-commerce can be strengthened and integrated.

In particular, it will talk about corporate Safety & Security (S&S) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The importance of S&S in a service company will be analyzed, while some of the actions that these companies can take to increase their CSR will be studied. Specifically, the study will focus on trying to offer some recommendations, to help ensure that train travel is safer and more enjoyable for passengers who suffer from a disability. From what has been said previously, the objective of this work can be stated as: present some actions, so that the trip by train, of passengers with some disability, is safer and more pleasant. To achieve this objective and the secondary objectives that may be generated, the Integrated-Adaptable Methodology for the development of Decision Support System will be followed, which, it has been shown, is very useful in investigations similar to this.

Smart specialization has been a central strategy for regional smart specializations (RS3s) across the European Union (EU), as a way to stimulate innovative development of the EU regions. The strategy aims to stimulate development in areas or regions that do not necessarily have the highest technological advancement but that have specialized and have had a comparative advantage to implement innovations based on research. This paper aims to initiate a discussion on the potential use of S3 as a platform for social entrepreneurship and innovation with the goal to promote and improve population health through the lens of health equity. Social entrepreneurship and innovation embedded within smart specialization presents a unique opportunity for health promotion and health equity in an agenda for regional development. However, empirical research is needed to develop new models for investigating the intersections between S3, SE and SI, and health promotion, health equity and sustainable development goal 3 (ensure healthy lives at all ages).

The humanitarian crises from the archives have seen a multitude of economic agents striving to balance the incongruity across the globe and bring them in harmony with the developmental goals of the society. The Indian government has identified the role of society and social organisations in addressing the problems of the deprived segment to attain the neglected positive externalities. The crowding of non-governmental organisations over the years has led several researches in studying the prospects and effectiveness of the same. NGO is an umbrella term for all voluntary and charity ventures – relying on donations, subscriptions, and various activities for raising funds. The augmented scope of sustainability and unsatisfactory equilibrium existing in the society underpins their need to evolve. The paper reviews the research on the NGOs and their volunteers acknowledging the potential of NGOs in metamorphosing into different structures, concurrently enlarging the scope of its sustainability and the effectiveness of the value created.

This study was carried out to establish the possibility of enhancing SME sustainability in Kampala, Uganda through boosting key internal drivers of entity performance (records management, internal communication, family influences, and online presence). Using conclusive, cross-sectional, and case study research designs supported by the philosophical underpinnings of critical realism and positivism epistemology, data was collected from 278 SMEs using semi-structured questionnaires. Using SEM analysis, it was revealed that all the key drivers have a positive significant statistical effects of the sustainability of SMEs (records management [S.E = 0.3; p = 0.000], internal communication [S.E = 0.229; p = 0.017], family influences [S.E = 0.162; p = 0.041], and online presence [S.E = 0.321; p = 0.000]). It was therefore recommended that key internal success factors identified need to be considered in the management and operations of SMEs in Kampala. This is aimed at guaranteeing the sustainability of SMEs and the boosting of the private sector.

The need for entrepreneurial sustainability is as important as the entrepreneurship category itself. By transferring competencies in a sustainable entrepreneurship framework, entrepreneurship education can make a significant contribution to the effectiveness of businesses, especially for start-up entrepreneurs. This study analyzes the essential competencies of students in the development of sustainable entrepreneurship. The main purpose of this research project is to study and explain the dimensions of sustainability entrepreneurship competencies among agricultural students. The results showed that seven key dimensions play a role in shaping sustainable entrepreneurial development competencies: systems thinking competence (STC), embracing diversity and interdisciplinary (EDI), foresighted thinking (FTC), normative competence (NC), action competence (AC), interpersonal competence (IC), and strategic management competence (SMC). While increasing, it was also found that STC plays an important role in explaining the relationship between sustainability and entrepreneurship.

This paper studies the communication of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) behaviour of 1,054 Italian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Manufacturing companies in controversial industries have a greater propensity to communicate corporate CSR practices, and CSR information increases with firm size, but only slightly. At the same time, the empirical analysis shows that companies in controversial industries have a lower probability of having a website. This raises issues regarding the propensity of controversial firms to set up a website, since it could expose them to public scrutiny and criticism.

This study examines the impact of corporate social responsibility on organisational citizenship behaviour, work engagement, and job embeddedness. Structural equation modeling tests were conducted on 522 responses gathered from telecommunications companies in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The results depicted that corporate social responsibility improvements have positive effects on organisational citizenship behaviour, work engagement, and job embeddedness. Further observations depicted an insignificant positive partial causal path between corporate social responsibility, work engagement, and organizational citizenship behaviour. This study's novelty elements are inherent in its potency to examine the causal path between corporate social responsibility, work engagement, and organizational citizenship behavior. This study contributes to the literature by further expanding job embeddedness theory and proposing a comprehensive job embeddedness framework that researchers and practitioners can adopt in future research.
