Dynamic response of an elastic-supported bridge under speed-varied moving loads was investigated. A mathematical model of vehicle-bridge coupled oscillation for an elastic-supported bridge was built up by means of 1/4 vehicle model (Mass-Spring-Mass) and Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. And then dynamic equations of vehicle-bridge coupled oscillation in matrix form were established using two former orders general coordinates of an elastic-supported beam and model superposition method. The influences of vehicle-bridge coupled vibration model, elastic-supported stiffness, entrance speeds and acceleration /deceleration of moving loads on the dynamic responses of bridges were studied. Vehicle-bridge coupled vibration model based on 1/4 vehicle model can more accurately describe the dynamic characters of bridges than that based on constant moving force model. Elastic-supported stiffness only has an impact on the fluctuation amplitudes of dynamic responses. The vehicle-induced impact factor is dependent on the entrance speeds, acceleration/deceleration of moving loads and elastic-supported stiffness.

To investigate the characteristic of coupled vibration of high speed train and bridge, the effect of the railway track irregularity, different train speeds were investigated based on analyzing the coupled vibration of the JR300 high speed train-bridge system The results show that the vertical acceleration of train will be influenced much when the railway track irregularity is considered. The study suggests that the dynamic response of the train and bridge decreases with an increase in the train speed, when the train speed is at a certain zone, and the dynamic response increase rapidly with the increased train speed when the train speed is out of this zone.

Abstract. The type and working principle of multi-engine multi-gearbox gearing are introduced. The global dynamic modeling method, based on the generalized finite element theory, and the layered dynamic modeling method, based on the idea of whole first and then partial are proposed, and the dynamic models of three operation modes in the four engines with two shafts are established. The effects of coupling, rotation speed, configuration and power loss on the dynamic response of the system are studied by using the dynamic model. The research results show that the coupling vibration of multi-engine multi-gearbox gearing is obvious at low speed, and the coupling vibration weakens with the increase in speed. Reducing the coupling stiffness can weaken the coupling vibration of the system. The symmetrical structure of the transmission system has the same dynamic response at the symmetrical position. Meshing friction has little effect on the dynamic response of the system. The more power flowing through the cross-connect gearbox, the greater the system power loss. This research provides theoretical support for the low-vibration design of multi-engine multi-gearbox marine gearing and has a positive significance for understanding the coupled vibration characteristics of complex gear systems.

When a train crosses a bridge in a crosswind environment, the coupled vibration problem of the train-bridge system becomes prominent, and train safety and riding comfort are difficult to guarantee. Therefore, using the Pingtan Strait bridge in China as a case study, a co-simulation platform for the train-bridge system coupled vibration in crosswind environments was established based on computational fluid dynamics, finite element method, and the multi-body system dynamics. Based on this platform, dynamic response analysis of the train-bridge system was performed at different wind and train speeds. The results indicate that the dynamic response of the train and bridge under double-line conditions is greater than that under single-line conditions. With an increase in wind speed, the mid-span vertical displacement of the bridge changes little, while the lateral displacement increases significantly. Meanwhile, with increasing wind and train speeds, the train dynamic indexes obviously increase. Moreover, the dynamic index of the head car is the largest among all the train sections.

To study dynamic response law when the isolated structure eccentric, random vibration of eccentric isolation structure is analyzed by generalized frequency response function in different structural parameter and site conditions, soil conditions, and isolation layer use the equivalent linear model, the structure level-torsion coupled vibration characteristics are considered. By calculation, statistical law of structure random dynamic response of eccentric isolation structure under seismic waves is given.
