Temporary traffic control (TTC) strategies have been widely adopted to maintain traffic flow while ensuring TTC costs remain a reasonable portion of construction budgets. As travel demand approaches the capacity of an existing facility, implementation of an appropriate TTC strategy is increasingly important not only because lane closures on these facilities exacerbate existing delay, but also because speeds associated with congestion contribute disproportionately and non-linearly to roadway emissions produced throughout the lifetime of the roadway. To enable stakeholders to make informed and transparent decisions on selecting a TTC strategy so as to balance the trade-offs among construction cost, traffic delay, and energy consumption, this paper discusses the development of an integrated model that identifies the Pareto-optimal front when construction start time, construction duration, lateral clearance, and width of shoulder borrowed as a through lane are considered as decision variables. A test implementation of the model suggests that when construction budgets are low, strategies for decreasing traffic delay differ significantly from those for decreasing energy consumption; however, as construction budgets increase, the objectives on traffic delay and energy consumption align much better.

Based on current research into the vector control principles of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), a control strategy founded upon an Active Disturbances Rejection Controller (ADRC) is proposed. This control strategy consists of an ADRC speed loop and current controller. By studying the factors affecting the running state of a PMSM, a mathematical model is established, and the design principle of the active disturbances rejection controller is analyzed in order to design the ADRC speed loop. The speed loop considers errors caused by uncertain factors, such as external disturbances, to be the disturbance amount, which is observed and then compensated for by the ADRC, thereby improving the dynamic and static performance as well as the anti-disturbance capability of the system. In order to achieve the strong coupling of the PMSM, the current controller was also designed to decouple the d–q axis current. Our simulation and experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and practicability of this control strategy.

The prefabricated building as a major initiative has been put forward by China in recent years to promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry, but its rapid development also faces high cost constraints. Therefore, it is necessary and urgent to study the key cost drivers and cost control paths of prefabricated buildings. Most of the current research focuses on the construction cost of prefabricated building as a static object. This article, on the other hand, regards the construction cost of prefabricated building as a dynamic formation process and conducts systematic research from product systems, technical systems, construction processes, and management modes. The influence factors of prefabricated building cost are defined and screened with the help of HSM and previous research results. A cause-and-effect model and cost control model of prefabricated building cost driver are established. Based on the model test of the actual project, the cost generation of prefabricated buildings is simulated. Through sensitivity analysis, key cost drivers of prefabricated building are identified and ranked as degree of design standardization, unit price, prefabrication rate, information technology level, transportation mode, labor level, machinery level, transportation distance, etc. Accordingly, corresponding strategies are proposed for the cost control of prefabricated buildings.

Bidding stage is one of the important stages of cost control of project construction, which is a form of beforehand control and active control. In order to make rational use of construction funds and pursuit investment returns to a greater extent, the employer should strengthen the construction cost control in the bidding phase. To begin with, this paper analyzes the significance of construction cost control in the bidding phase, states the form of expression of construction cost in the bidding phase, and focuses on the analysis of influence factors of cost control in the bidding phase. Finally it puts forward some countermeasures to prevent the risk of project cost control in the bidding phase.

Hoist bridge crane swinging phenomenon often occurs during the operation, making the work more difficult, there is a certain danger. To solve this problem, anti-sway system for overhead cranes depth study to identify the main factors affecting heavy lifting swinging; proposed single neuron PID control strategy, while using MATLAB simulation used to verify the reliability of the method.

For the purpose of encouraging enterprises to save energy and reduce emissions from the internal demand and providing insight and inspiration to future study, this article not only describes the carbon finance coefficient model based on factors related to carbon finance but also establishes cost estimation model of carbon emissions according to the factors affecting the cost of carbon emissions and carbon finance coefficient. The resulted shows that carbon emissions currency cost namely the monetary costs of carbon emissions is the market value and the currency value of carbon emissions cost based on the financial market conditions. The result of the present work introduces that the cost of carbon emission has a correlation with prevention costs, cost control, carbon content, industrial added value, carbon finance index and so on so that governments and enterprises should take some measures such as perfecting carbon finance system and setting up the cost control of system consciousness to reduce the cost of carbon emissions and protect our environment.
