The authors present a system which is designed to cover statistically the roughly 50 million policlinical services rendered annually in Bulgaria, for the purpose of planning and as proof of the activities in this field. The principle underlying the system was tested in the region of Plovdiv.

The National Library of Venezuela, now 141 years old, has 900 staff and a 1988 budget of $14.5 million. Its stock of c.2 million items includes over 1 million books and manuscripts, 15,000 periodicals, and audiovisual materials. Many changes have taken place since 1974 during a process of modernization, as part of a project to create a national information system, including the development of a National Audiovisual Archive (the first in Latin America) and the creation of a conservation service. During this time the National Library has also carried out a series of actions to support and promote the national book industry. As a result of the experience accumulated, the National Library is able to serve as a reference point for other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean in planning and developing their own services and national systems.

We present CLOUDS, which stands for C++ Library Organizing Uncertainty in Database Systems, a tool that allows the creation of fuzzy reasoning systems over classic, nonfuzzy, relational databases. CLOUDS can be used in three flavors: CLOUDS API, a C++ API; CLOUDS-L, a compiled language; and CLOUDSQL, a fuzzy extension to SQL queries (ANSI, 1992). It was developed using the objectoriented paradigm and has an extensible architecture based on a main control system that manages different models, and runs queries and commands defined in them. As a test, it was incorporated into a geographic information system and used to analyze epidemiological data.

ABSTRACTThis article explores the creation of the system for the conservation of architectural heritage in Northern Ireland, evidencing the struggle for convergence within the UK before 1972. The agency of networked individuals, close state–civil society interrelationships and the innovative actions of conservationist groups in response to legislative and practice inadequacies in the 1960s are discussed. In particular, a series of ‘pre-statutory lists’ are introduced, highlighting the burgeoning interest in industrial archaeology and Victorian architecture in Belfast and the prompt provided to their creation by redevelopment. The efforts of conservationists were eventually successful after the collapse of Devolution in the early 1970s.

The article examines the issues associated with the use of marketing in the creation and functioning of industrial parks. Particular attention is paid to the formation of marketing data to allow evaluation of the effectiveness of the industrial parks. The authors prove that the geo information system of industrial parks must be one of the key tools to ensure marketing data for potential investors and residents: and it should be the basis for the formation of programs and measures of state support of development of modern industrial infrastructure of the country.

To identify problems in land management and find ways to solve them, the modern structure of organization of rational land use is considered. The analysis of the digitalization of economy in advanced foreign countries is carried out. It has been determined that in order to implement effective land policy, it is necessary to use modern geoinformation technologies, in particular, introduction of digitalization in the field of land relations regulation. It was revealed that in recent years digital technologies have been actively used in agriculture of the republic on the basis of space monitoring, which makes it possible to determine the areas of agricultural crops, species yield, and weediness of fields. The efficiency of land management based on the creation of information system - a unified state cadastre of real estate for the implementation of the State program "Digital Kazakhstan" is shown. In matters of improving land use, it foresees the creation and implementation of a State cadastre of real estate and national spatial data infrastructure. Currently, a pilot project is being carried out to combine two information systems in order to obtain a unified information system for the real estate cadastre. It was concluded that provision of all types of services in accordance with land legislation must be converted into a digital format, thanks to which the public can get free access to information, the necessary services at a distance (without the obligatory attendance at public service centers), as well as in operational mode of obtaining them. For the efficient and rational use of land and work with real estate, a new structure should be created - the Real Estate Management Agency.

Academic Information System (SIA) or Sistem Information Akademik (SIA) is an information system created to help the process of processing all school civitas data designed to assist the processing of all data of the school community. At  SMA N 1 Palembayan, grades, school civitas biodata, and enrollment of new students still utilize simple applications from Dapodik and Ms. Office applications and archived in the form of paper that causes data to be vulnerable to damage, and lost. In addition, the entire community of schools and the general public is difficult and slow in obtaining school information if at any time needed due to the dissemination of information that is still manual. Therefore, to facilitate schools  in the effective and efficient processing and dissemination of information, a web- based academic information system is needed. This academic information system was developed using PHP programming language with MySql storage media and supported by other programs. The final result of this research is the creation of a web-based academic information system that can present academic and non- academic information to schools easily and quickly for both the school community and the general public.
