The European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) introduced into New Zealand in the 183Os, has consistently flourished in Central Otago, the upper Waitaki, and inland Marlborough, all areas of mediterranean climate. It has proved difficult to manage in these habitats. The 'rabbit problem' is largely confined to 105,000 ha of low producing land mostly in semi arid areas of Central Otago. No field scale modifications of the natural habitat have been successful in limiting rabbit numbers. The costs of control exceed the revenue from the land and continued public funding for control operations appears necessary. A system for classifying land according to the degree of rabbit proneness is described. Soil survey and land classification information for Central Otago is related to the distribution and density of rabbits. This intormation can be used as a basis for defining rabbit carrying capacity and consequent land use constraints and management needs. It is concluded that the natural rabbit carrying capacity of land can be defined by reference to soil survey information and cultural modification to the natural vegetation. Classification of land according to rabbit proneness is proposed as a means of identifying the need for, and allocation of, public funding tor rabbit management. Parameter ratios are important information for the ship designer in the preliminary design stages. They can be used as a tool to identify the main parameter of vessel and their other technical characteristics. The information about parameter ratios of mono-hull vessel is currently available in Naval Architecture literatures, but it is not the case for the type of twin-hull vessel called catamaran. Having conducted technical analysis in this research, it has been identified that parameter ratios of passenger catamaran vessel made of FRP has values of L / B ratio from 2.52 up to 3.7, L / D ratio from 5.25 up to 11:24, slenderness ratio (Lwl/BwL) from  9 up to 12. Other values of various parameter ratios like B/T, D/T, L /√ L, and Displacement/L are also discussed.

Radin Inten II Airport is a national flight in Lampung Province. In this study using the technical analysis stated preference which is the approach by conveying the choice statement in the form of hypotheses to be assessed by the respondent. By using these techniques the researcher can fully control the hypothesized factors. To determine utility function for model forecasting in fulfilling request of traveler is used regression analysis with SPSS program. The analysis results obtained that the passengers of the dominant airport in the selection of modes of cost attributes than on other attributes. From the result of regression analysis, the influence of independent variable to the highest dependent variable is when the five attributes are used together with the R square value of 8.8%. The relationship between cost, time, headway, time acces and service with the selection of modes, the provision that states whether or not there is a decision. The significance of α = 0.05 with chi-square. And the result of Crame's V test average of 0.298 is around the middle, then the relationship is moderate enough.

Показаны сравнительные результаты оценки причин аварийных ситуаций, проведенных статистическими методами и методами технического анализа. The authors provide statistics on accidents associated with gas and dust explosions at mining enterprises in Russia. Comparative results of the assessment of the emergencies causes conducted by statistical methods and technical analysis methods are shown.
