Energy saving can be maximized by rectifying the intermediate conversion processes involved during the utilization of solar energy. The system eliminates the transformation of electrical form of solar energy into another form by directly utilizing its electrical energy in the management and control of power supplies obtained from renewable (solar) and conventional (mains) energy sources. A current control scheme is presented in which current delivered by solar supply is used to control the current in mains supply in such a way that both currents are inversely proportional to each other. Any increment in solar current opposes mains current in the same proportion and vice versa. A balanced common physical output is resulted from the electrical load supplied by each source separately. A natural variation in solar radiation is utilized to fluctuate the solar current which is further used to change the mains current. Energy saving is maximized in this supply management by the optimal utilization of solar energy.

On the basis of analyzing technology processes and control demands of concrete mixing station, a design of control system for this construction machinery based on SIEMENS S7-300 PLC and eView touch screen was introduced in this paper, including hardware selection, PLC LAD diagram programming and HMI design, etc. All expected demands for weighing, batching, deposit, mixing, unloading, conveying of the whole technology processes of concrete mixing are reached, and a totally automatic production can be realized also. The practical operation verifies that the control system is highly reliable and stable, and it greatly enhances the control accuracy and meets the equipments requirements of energy-saving.

An energy-saving control system for building heating supply system is presented in this paper. Its design and implementation are on the basis of occupancy detection in buildings. By taking advantage of the information fusion technology, the control system will determine human’s location and control the heating equipments automatically according to non-human zone and human zone to realize the energy saving. The information fusion technology fuses three categories of information, which are the people counting information, the infrared sensors information and the RFID information. How to design and implement the heating energy-saving control system is described explicitly in this paper. Since the system has developed with platform concept based on the wireless network and the Internet, it can be used to other building electrical equipment systems with less modification.

As a new energy-saving and environmental protection building material, dry-mixed mortar has been promoting actively in China. The key techniques of control system for dry-mixed mortar production line were introduced in this paper, which was mainly based on PLC and smart weighing instrumentation. Firstly, the technology process and control demands were presented. Secondly, control system configuration, control strategy were proposed in detail. Finally, the key intelligent adjust algorithms were described as well. The practical operation verifies that the control system is highly reliable and stable, and it greatly enhances the level of automation and weighing accuracy of the raw material and meets the equipments requirements of energy-saving and green running.
