Network repair is indispensable for maintaining network security. Conventional static repair is relatively inefficient. In this study, by considering the energy transfer between nodes, a dynamic repair model was established. The fundamental reason for the secondary failure of repaired nodes during the dynamic repair process is the coupling structure of failure networks. A dynamic repair strategy was proposed that can effectively prevent the secondary failure of repair nodes influenced by energy during repair and can cause the redundant capacity of repair nodes to be used reasonably. By turning off the energy transfer function of the link to control the excessive flow of energy into the repair node to avoid the occurrence of secondary failure; on the other hand, by sharing part of the load of the failure node, realize the rational use of the redundant capacity of the repair node to reduce the impact of the failure node on the overall function of the network. The proposed strategy mitigated the effect of failure nodes on network functions and substantially improved the recovery efficiency of network functions. Furthermore, redundant edges, behaving as energy redundant links in a network structure, can considerably improve the robustness of the network by optimizing the removal of redundant edges. Dynamic repair is not only an efficient repair method but also a highly flexible choice for network repair.

Abstract The traditional segmentation methods available for pulmonary parenchyma are not accurate because most of the methods exclude nodules or tumors adhering to the lung pleural wall as fat. In this paper, several techniques are exhaustively used in different phases, including two-dimensional (2D) optimal threshold selection and 2D reconstruction for lung parenchyma segmentation. Then, lung parenchyma boundaries are repaired using improved chain code and Bresenham pixel interconnection. The proposed method of segmentation and repairing is fully automated. Here, 21 thoracic computer tomography slices having juxtapleural nodules and 115 lung parenchyma scans are used to verify the robustness and accuracy of the proposed method. Results are compared with the most cited active contour methods. Empirical results show that the proposed fully automated method for segmenting lung parenchyma is more accurate. The proposed method is 100% sensitive to the inclusion of nodules/tumors adhering to the lung pleural wall, the juxtapleural nodule segmentation is >98%, and the lung parenchyma segmentation accuracy is >96%.

The use of Image Repair Theory for companies during crisis communication is an interesting study. It is also applied when several PT HM Sampoerna Tbk factory employees are known to have died due to suffering from COVID-19. This event affected the company's image, especially the negative sentiment on the quality of the products produced due to employees affected by COVID-19. This study analyzes the image repair strategy used by PT HM Sampoerna Tbk through press releases published on the company's official website. The research objective is to analyze message options for organizations to use in times of crisis. The study uses a qualitative content analysis method by analyzing text written in press releases, then putting it into categories that have been determined in the image repair strategy. The results showed PT HM Sampoerna Tbk's inconsistency in using the Reducing Offensiveness strategy, which is often used in types of accident and/or challenge crises, including product damage situations. Excessive use of Reducing Offensiveness must be an organization's concern when conducting crisis communication, especially when the audience has a critical view of the organization. Reducing Offensiveness can be more optimally used by neutral third parties than the organization itself; however, the research results show that PT HM Sampoerna Tbk carries out all strategy delivery.
