The pulverized coal concentration in blast pipe in front of firebox is one key parameter in coal boiler used in a power plant; it will affect the state of burning in firebox. This paper proposes a new digital correlation method to measure the time delay of ultrasonic for measuring the pulverized coal concentration. The principle of measurement is discussed in detail and the measuring system is designed.

Protein numbers in cells determine rates of biological processes, influence the architecture of cellular structures, reveal the stoichiometries of protein complexes, guide in vitro biochemical reconstitutions, and provide parameter values for mathematical modeling. The purpose of this essay is to increase awareness of methods for counting protein molecules using fluorescence microscopy and encourage more cell biologists to report these numbers. We address the state of the field in terms of utility and accuracy of the numbers reported and point readers to references for details of specific techniques and applications.

Forest resources are an integral part of economic, social and ecological development of the state. Making decisions as for the change and improving the system of forestry and the mechanism of management of it should be based on the results of comprehensive evaluation of implementation their functions by forest fund. The research is based on application of integrating estimation method to economic objects. The main functions of forest resources include productive, socio-economic, protective and preserving function. The method of evaluation of lamas their functions is developed, which is based on the method of integral evaluation and regulation of performing indicators implementation of specific functions. System of indicators is selected, which reflect the performance of the forest resources of each determined function. It was ascertained that degree of execution of their functions by forests of the four most radioactively contaminated districts of Zhytomyr oblast as one of the worst-affected by Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster differs significantly. This applies especially to provisional and protection functions.

The reptile fauna of some localities in Paraná is still poorly known. Most surveys were conducted in the central-north, central-south, and eastern regions of the state. Herein, we present a list of squamate reptiles from the Mauá Hydroelectric Power Plant along the Tibagi River, in the central-east region of Paraná. Samplings occurred from March 2010 to April 2015. We recorded 34 species: 24 snakes, eight lizards, and two amphisbaenians. Our work adds new knowledge about the reptilian fauna of the central-east region of Paraná.
