The existing stand-alone multimedia machines and online multimedia machines in the market have certain deficiencies, so they cannot meet the actual needs. Based on this, this research combines the actual needs to design and implement a multi-media system based on the Internet of Things and cloud service platform. Moreover, through in-depth research on the MQTT protocol, this study proposes a message encryption verification scheme for the MQTT protocol, which can solve the problem of low message security in the Internet of Things communication to a certain extent. In addition, through research on the fusion technology of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, this research designs scheme to provide a LightGBM intelligent prediction module interface, MQTT message middleware, device management system, intelligent prediction and push interface for the cloud platform. Finally, this research completes the design and implementation of the cloud platform and tests the function and performance of the built multimedia system database. The research results show that the multimedia database constructed in this paper has good performance.

Cloud computing and cloud data storage have become important applications on the Internet. An important trend in cloud computing and cloud data storage is group collaboration since it is a great inducement for an entity to use a cloud service, especially for an international enterprise. In this paper we propose a cloud data storage scheme with some protocols to support group collaboration. A group of users can operate on a set of data collaboratively with dynamic data update supported. Every member of the group can access, update and verify the data independently. The verification can also be authorized to a third-party auditor for convenience.

<P>Background: The cloud computing is the modern trend in high-performance computing. Cloud computing becomes very popular due to its characteristic of available anywhere, elasticity, ease of use, cost-effectiveness, etc. Though the cloud grants various benefits, it has associated issues and challenges to prevent the organizations to adopt the cloud. </P><P> Objective: The objective of this paper is to cover the several perspectives of Cloud Computing. This includes a basic definition of cloud, classification of the cloud based on Delivery and Deployment Model. The broad classification of the issues and challenges faced by the organization to adopt the cloud computing model are explored. Examples for the broad classification are Data Related issues in the cloud, Service availability related issues in cloud, etc. The detailed sub-classifications of each of the issues and challenges discussed. The example sub-classification of the Data Related issues in cloud shall be further classified into Data Security issues, Data Integrity issue, Data location issue, Multitenancy issues, etc. This paper also covers the typical problem of vendor lock-in issue. This article analyzed and described the various possible unique insider attacks in the cloud environment. </P><P> Results: The guideline and recommendations for the different issues and challenges are discussed. The most importantly the potential research areas in the cloud domain are explored. </P><P> Conclusion: This paper discussed the details on cloud computing, classifications and the several issues and challenges faced in adopting the cloud. The guideline and recommendations for issues and challenges are covered. The potential research areas in the cloud domain are captured. Background: Currently, Cloud Service Provider (CSP) or third party usually proposes principles and methods for cloud security risk evaluation, while cloud users have no choice but accept them. However, since cloud users and cloud service providers have conflicts of interests, cloud users may not trust the results of security evaluation performed by the CSP. Also, different cloud users may have different security risk preferences, which makes it difficult for third party to consider all users' needs during evaluation. In addition, current security evaluation indexes for cloud are too impractical to test (e.g., indexes like interoperability, transparency, portability are not easy to be evaluated). Methods: To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a practical cloud security risk evaluation method of decision-making based on conflicting roles by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Aggregation of Individual priorities (AIP). Results: Not only can our method bring forward a new index system based on risk source for cloud security and corresponding practical testing methods, but also can obtain the evaluation result with the risk preferences of conflicting roles, namely CSP and cloud users, which can lay a foundation for improving mutual trusts between the CSP and cloud users. The experiments show that the method can effectively assess the security risk of cloud platforms and in the case where the number of clouds increased by 100% and 200%, the evaluation time using our methodology increased by only by 12% and 30%. Conclusion: Our method can achieve consistent decision based on conflicting roles, high scalability and practicability for cloud security risk evaluation.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to analyze cloud reviews according to the end-user context and requirements.Design/methodology/approachpropose a comprehensive knowledge base composed of interconnected Web Ontology Language, namely, modular ontology for cloud service opinion analysis (SOPA). The SOPA knowledge base will be the basis of context-aware cloud service analysis using consumers' reviews. Moreover, the authors provide a framework to evaluate cloud services based on consumers' reviews opinions.FindingsThe findings show that there is a positive impact of personalizing the cloud service analysis by considering the reviewers' contexts in the performance of the framework. The authors also proved that the SOPA-based framework outperforms the available cloud review sites in term of precision, recall and F-measure.Research limitations/implicationsLimited information has been provided in the semantic web literature about the relationships between the different domains and the details on how that can be used to evaluate cloud service through consumer reviews and latent opinions. Furthermore, existing approaches are lacking lightweight and modular mechanisms which can be utilized to effectively exploit information existing in social media.Practical implicationsThe SOPA-based framework facilitates the opinion based service evaluation through a large number of consumer's reviews and assists the end-users in analyzing services as per their requirements and their own context.Originality/valueThe SOPA ontology is capable of representing the content of a product/service as well as its related opinions, which are extracted from the customer's reviews written in a specific context. Abstract For a high level of data availability and reliability, a common strategy for cloud service providers is to rely on replication, i.e. storing several replicas onto different servers. To provide cloud users with a strong guarantee that all replicas required by them are actually stored, many multi-replica integrity auditing schemes were proposed. However, most existing solutions are not resource economical since users need to create and upload replicas of their files by themselves. A multi-replica solution called Mirror is presented to overcome the problems, but we find that it is vulnerable to storage saving attack, by which a dishonest provider can considerably save storage costs compared to the costs of storing all the replicas honestly—while still can pass any challenge successfully. In addition, we also find that Mirror is easily subject to substitution attack and forgery attack, which pose new security risks for cloud users. To address the problems, we propose some simple yet effective countermeasures and an improved proofs of retrievability and replication scheme, which can resist the aforesaid attacks and maintain the advantages of Mirror, such as economical bandwidth and efficient verification. Experimental results show that our scheme exhibits comparable performance with Mirror while achieving high security.

Nowadays, many business organizations are operating on the cloud environment in order to diminish their operating costs and to select the best service from many cloud providers. The increasing number of Cloud Services available on the market encourages the cloud consumer to be conscious in selecting the most apt Cloud Service Provider that satisfies functionality, as well as QoS parameters. Many disciplines of computer-based applications use standardized ontology to represent information in their fields that indicate the necessity of an ontology-based representation. The proposed generic model can help service consumers to identify QoS parameters interrelations in the cloud services selection ontology during run-time, and for service providers to enhance their business by interpreting the various relations. The ontology has been developed using the intended attributes of QoS from various service providers. A generic model has been developed and it is tested with the developed ontology.
