Currently, there are opposing views on the issue of whether financial support plays a role in improving the human settlement. This article is dedicated to exploring the mutual influence of financial support and the improvement of human settlements from the perspective of coupling effects, and determining the characteristics of coupling and coordination to promote the sustainable development of China and developing countries. This paper uses the entropy method and the coupling coordination model to estimate the coupling and coordination types of financial support and human settlements in seven provinces in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River from 2005 to 2018. In addition, the spatial autocorrelation model is adopted to determine the spatial agglomeration characteristics of the coupling and coordination of financial support and human settlements. All in all, this paper believes that financial support has improved the human settlements, and that there is a coupling effect. Specifically, the coupling coordination value of financial support and human settlements fluctuated from 0.034 to 0.436, showing an inverted U-shaped development trend as a whole. In addition, the correlation between financial support and the improvement of the human settlements is currently in the stage of barely balanced development, and there is a gap between benign and coordinated development. Secondly, the coupling and coordination between financial support and human settlements has significant spatial agglomeration characteristics, and the coupling effect in the eastern region is weaker than that in the western region. In particular, Jiangxi was mainly distributed as high to high agglomeration, and Jiangsu was mainly distributed as high to low agglomeration. It has formed a coupling and coordinated development area with Jiangsu-Jiangxi as the axis, radiating the development of adjacent areas. This research reveals the heterogeneity of financial support to the improvement of human settlements in different regions, portrays the coupling characteristics of financial support and the improvement of human settlements, and provides ideas for the coordinated development of the two.

In order to promote the coordinated development of the sports and pension industries, it is of great significance to apply the theory of industrial integration to the study of the interaction mechanism of the sports and pension industries, but there is a lack of research in this area at present. This paper firstly constructs the evaluation system of the coupling and coordination development of the sports and pension industries. Secondly, based on the panel data of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2013–2017, this paper analyzes the coupling and coordination relationship between the sports and pension industries by using the entropy method and the coupling coordination model. Finally, the coupling coordination relationship between the two industries in the region in the next five years is predicted using the grey model (1.1), i.e. GM (1.1) model. The results show the following: (1) The development level of the two major industries in 11 provinces and cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is generally on the rise, and they have a high correlation. (2) The sports industry is more volatile than the pension industry, and the sports industry has become an effective path dependence to narrow the regional development differences. The sports industry has a weak driving role in the pension industry, while the pension industry has a greater role in promoting the sports industry. (3) There is a large spatial difference in the coupling coordination degree of the sports and pension industries in 11 provinces and cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, which will remain in the next five years, though the evolution and upgrading speed of the coupling coordination level will be significantly accelerated.

The coordinated development evaluation problem of a regional eco-green cooperative can be formulated as a heterogeneous multi-criteria decision-making (HMCDM) problem. Evaluation information can contain qualitative information and quantitative information, but it cannot determine the weight of the interdependence criteria subjectively. Firstly, this paper constructs an evaluation index system for regional ecological green coordinated development. The system includes four dimensions of coordinated development: the regional ecological environment, economic environment, social environment and policy environment, including 20 indicators with heterogeneous and multi-attribute characteristics. Secondly, we construct a heterogeneous multi-attribute decision-making model by calculating the relative closeness, and use the closeness to construct the value function to determine the weight index of each attribute. Finally, we make an empirical study on the performance evaluation of regional ecological green coordinated development of 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta in China. The results show that the main driving force for the improvement of the level of regional ecological green coordinated development is the high-quality economic development, and the main obstacles to the degree of coordinated development of regional ecological green development are high energy consumption, high pollution and high emissions in industrial development; and a result found by sorting the degree of the regional ecological green coordinated development in the Yangtze River Delta city group. The heterogeneous multi-attribute decision model we proposed can effectively solve the weights of the ecological green collaborative development indicators, and the method has feasibility and effectiveness.

Exploring the coupling coordinated relationship between urbanization and eco-environment of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River (UAMRYR) from 2000 to 2015 can provide a theoretical basis for the overall planning and healthy development of the region. Therefore, in this article, we took 31 cities of the UAMRYR as the research area, and established an evaluation system to calculate the urbanization level and eco-environmental quality. Then, using entropy method and coupling measurement model, we analyzed the coupling coordination relationship between urbanization level and eco-environmental quality from spatial and temporal perspectives. Temporally, the coupling degree (CD) and coupling coordinated degree (CCD) continually rose during the 16 years. Spatially, the coordinated development level of urbanization level and eco-environmental quality had significant spatial differences. The CD presented the “northwest-southeast” spatial characteristics corresponding to high-low distribution. The CCD showed an inverted Y-shaped spatial pattern that gradually decreases outward from the provincial capital city. The coordinated development level of urbanization and eco-environment in the UAMRYR showed a central-periphery spatial pattern, and had an obvious spatial variation.
