The internet of things (IoT) transforms the world in many ways. It combines many types of hardware and software with a variety of communication technologies to enable the development of innovative applications. A typical IoT system consists of IoT device, IoT gateway, IoT platform, and IoT application. Developing these elements and delivering an IoT system for fulfilling business requirements encompasses many activities to be executed and is not straightforward. To expedite these activities, some major vendors provide software development kits (SDK), integrated development environments (IDE), and utility tools for developing software to be executed on IoT devices/gateways. Moreover, these vendors utilize their cloud platforms to provide fundamental services, such as data storage, analytics, stream processing, for developing IoT systems. These vendors also developed IoT specific cloud-based services, such as connectivity and device management, to support IoT system development. This chapter presents an overview of tools and platforms provided by five major vendors.

Abstract The research concerns the efficient development of low-potential thermal waters in the East-Ciscaucasian artesian basin. A technology is proposed for the integrated development of low-temperature thermal water, using its heat potential for district heating and hot water supply, as well the water itself for various water management purposes, with its quality previously brought to the standards of drinking water. Various chemical water treatment units are suggested for this purpose, with their design and technological features being formed depending on the quality of the source water. The system will enable the maximization of the resource potential of the geothermal well and its all-year-round operation. The paper shows the efficiency of using the potential of geothermal energy resources in energy- biological complexes. The geothermal-biogas technology with the integrated application of thermal waters for various needs is presented. Such thermal water utilization provides for the most efficient use of its thermal potential with a decrease in temperature to a value close to the ambient temperature.

BACKGROUND: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) are a chronic disease that causes many deaths globally, which is under serious attention by putting in NCD as one target of the Sustainable Development Goals of 2030. An effort in overcoming NCD in Indonesia is through the Integrated Development Post of NCDs (POSBINDU-PTM). Based on a preliminary study at the Bulili Health Center (PUSKESMAS Bulili), it was found that there was a lack of utilization of POSBINDU-PTM such as less role of cadres, lack of health counseling, lack of coordination between cadres and health center (PUSKESMAS) officers, lack of commitment from health center as a coaching team, lack of cross-sector collaboration with POSBINDU programs, and the community not being motivated to be cadres. AIM: This study aimed to determine the factors related to the utilization of POSBINDU-PTM in the working area of the Bulili Health Center, Palu City. METHOD: It was quantitative research with an analytical survey design using a cross-sectional design. The sample was all people in the South Birobuli and Petobo villages of 100 people. The data collected are the characteristics of respondents, and knowledge, access to POSBINDU-PTM, facilities and infrastructure, health cadres support, health officer support, and family support toward the utilization of POSBINDU-PTM. Data analysis with the Chi-square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. RESULTS: The results of this study indicated a relationship between knowledge (p = 0.005), access (p = 0.000), facilities and Infrastructure (p = 0.000), health cadre support (p = 0.000), health center officer support (p = 0.000), and family support (p = 0.000) by utilizing POSBINDU-PTM under the work area of the Bulili Health Center, Palu City. CONCLUSION: The utilization of POSBINDU-PTM is still very low only 22%. All factors in this study (knowledge, Access, Facilities and Infrastructure, Health Cadre Support, Health Center Officer Support, and Family Support) have a significant correlation to Utilizing POSBINDU-PTM.

The Estrela UNESCO Global Geopark, which encompasses the highest mountain in mainland Portugal, is a geographically defined territory with resources of notorious geological interest, with precious ecosystems, identity, and ways of life. Its geodiversity, associated with traces of glacial origin, the richness of its natural and cultural heritage, make this a unique territory, whose structured approach will strengthen its knowledge, the importance of its functions, and its tourist, heritage, and cultural potential. The Estrela UGGp has the mission of contributing to the protection, valorisation, and dynamics of the natural and cultural heritage, with special emphasis on geological heritage, with a view of disseminating scientific knowledge, promoting tourism and the sustainable development of serra da Estrela. Overall, the Estrela UGGp fosters the development of an integrated development strategy, combined with geoconservation, education, and tourism, supporting the construction of development strategies for the well-being of the community.

According to a press release emitted by INEGI on December 2nd, 2020, 93.2% of the companies in Mexico reported problems caused by the current pandemic, and more than a million businesses closed their doors permanently. In this context, the need to create technological tools that promote the development of activities of micro, small and medium businesses emerged. In this project, the development and creation of an application for a car wash business that allows clients and workers to book and manage appointments and the payment of services are presented. The development of this project was carried out with the framework SCRUM, using different tools for collaborative development such as ASP.Net for web applications, Visual Studio as Integrated Development Environment (IDE), a relational database system, and Model-View-Controller (MVC) as an architectural pattern. This module can be adapted to any kind of business with the same needs in the same field or other fields.

IDE (Integrated Development Environment) adalah sebuah aplikasi perangkat lunak yang menyediakan fungsi untuk memudahkan pengembangkan perangkat lunak. Integrated development environment (IDE) adalah rangkaian perangkat lunak yang menggabungkan alat dasar yang diperlukan untuk menulis dan menguji perangkat lunak. Pengembang menggunakan banyak alat di seluruh pembuatan, pembuatan, dan pengujian kode perangkat lunak. Alat pengembangan sering kali mencakup editor teks, pustaka kode, kompiler, dan platform pengujian. Tanpa IDE, pengembang harus memilih, menyebarkan, mengintegrasikan, dan mengelola semua alat ini secara terpisah. IDE menyatukan banyak alat terkait pengembangan tersebut sebagai kerangka kerja, aplikasi, atau layanan tunggal. Toolset terintegrasi dirancang untuk menyederhanakan pengembangan perangkat lunak dan dapat mengidentifikasi dan meminimalkan kesalahan pengkodean dan kesalahan ketik. Beberapa IDE adalah open source, sementara yang lain adalah penawaran komersial. IDE dapat berupa aplikasi yang berdiri sendiri atau dapat menjadi bagian dari paket yang lebih besar.
