The paper compares three methods of coding nominal variables in regression analysis: coding of each level as a separate variable, coding with binary code, numbering of factor levels. Although these methods have existed for a long time and even have a theoretical justification (except for encoding with binary code), there were no recommendations and comparisons for their practical application. The features of the application of each method and the existing limitations are analyzed. In the article, there are considered two examples that provide a detailed comparison of these three methods. Comparative analysis has been carried out in the following areas: the presence of restrictions in use; statistical properties of plans; labour intensity and difficulty of obtaining mathematical models and the final result of their building; convenience of semantic analysis and use. Additionally, there have been made comparisons with models based on Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials. It has been established that different methods of coding nominal variables, when used correctly, lead to regression models that are approximately identical in their properties. Moreover, the method of encoding each level as a separate variable is possible only if there are experiments in which there is no nominal variable as an influence effect. The binary coding method is inconvenient to use with a large number of levels of variation of the nominal variable and inconvenient to analyze. When coding by level numbering, it is necessary that the average response values, according to the dispersion diagram of this factor, are sorted by value in accordance with the assigned numbers. With this encoding method, a natural number of factors is preserved. Sharply distinguishable best results are achieved with this coding method using Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials. The highest accuracy and uniformity of approximation are ensured.

Abstract. The goal of the study was to explore event-related potential (ERP) differences during the processing of emotional adjectives that were evaluated as congruent or incongruent with the current mood. We hypothesized that the first effects of congruence evaluation would be evidenced during the earliest stages of semantic analysis. Sixty mood adjectives were presented separately for 1,000 ms each during two sessions of mood induction. After each presentation, participants evaluated to what extent the word described their mood. The results pointed to incongruence marking of adjective’s meaning with current mood during early attention orientation and semantic access stages (the P150 component time window). This was followed by enhanced processing of congruent words at later stages. As a secondary goal the study also explored word valence effects and their relation to congruence evaluation. In this regard, no significant effects were observed on the ERPs; however, a negativity bias (enhanced responses to negative adjectives) was noted on the behavioral data (RTs), which could correspond to the small differences traced on the late positive potential.

Similarity View is an application for visually comparing and exploring multiple models of text and collection of document. Friendbook finds ways of life of clients from client driven sensor information, measures the closeness of ways of life amongst clients, and prescribes companions to clients if their ways of life have high likeness. Roused by demonstrate a clients day by day life as life records, from their ways of life are separated by utilizing the Latent Dirichlet Allocation Algorithm. Manual techniques can't be utilized for checking research papers, as the doled out commentator may have lacking learning in the exploration disciplines. For different subjective views, causing possible misinterpretations. An urgent need for an effective and feasible approach to check the submitted research papers with support of automated software. A method like text mining method come to solve the problem of automatically checking the research papers semantically. The proposed method to finding the proper similarity of text from the collection of documents by using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) algorithm and Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) with synonym algorithm which is used to find synonyms of text index wise by using the English wordnet dictionary, another algorithm is LSA without synonym used to find the similarity of text based on index. LSA with synonym rate of accuracy is greater when the synonym are consider for matching.
