Cowan's concept of a pure short-term memory (STM) capacity limit is equivalent to that of memory subitizing. However, a robust phenomenon well known in the Sternberg paradigm, that is, the linear increase of RT as a function of memory set size is not consistent with this concept. Cowan's STM capacity theory will remain incomplete until it can account for this phenomenon.

The main purpose of this study is to empirically test current assets structure of Aquaculture firms listed on Vietnam’s stock market. For this purpose, in this study we used qualitative method and quantitative method; and evaluate current assets structure of Aquaculture firms listed on Vietnam’s stock market via six (6) indicators, including (i) current assets / total assets (CA); (ii) cash / current assets (C), (iii) Short-term financial investments / current assets (STFI); (iv) Short-term receivables / current assets (STR); (v) Inventories / current assets (I); and (vi) other current assets / current assets (OCA). The results of the research show that current assets structure of Aquaculture firms listed on Vietnam’s stock market have many significant differences. Firms with 7.5% or more foreign ownership account for a relatively low proportion of these enterprises.

The paper analyzes the new manifestations of external debt in developing countries from 2000 to 2019, author uses the analytical qualitative and quantitative method, the findings are (1) the external debt is trended by groups of country, (2) external debt stocks of PPG long term debt, PNG long term debt rose between 2000 and 2019, (3) The percentage of GDP of External debt stocks decreased, PNG long term debt and short term debt slightly went up between 2000 and 2019, (4) East and South-East Asia and Oceania and Latin America and the Caribbean have exchange the top and second position of highest amount in both 2018 and 2000, (5) Debt service on long-term external PPG of SIDS is helds the biggest amount of debt between 2000 and 2019, (6) The redemption schedules of both High-income countries and Low- and middle-income countries both increased the amount of redemption which is from around 2 to 2.32 tril USD and 0.67 to 1.07 tril USD in 2000 and 2021, respectively. This shows us that at least they have solution how to get resolved their external debt.

The present study investigated the hypothesis that nonstrategic verbal encoding abilities are deficient in learning disabled readers. Normal, deaf, and learning disabled children matched on chronological age, IQ, and sex were randomly assigned to named and unnamed stimulus pretraining conditions and compared on subsequent performance on a probe-type serial memory task. Although overt rehearsal was inhibited, strong primacy effects were found for both the named and the unnamed condition. The named condition was superior to the unnamed condition for both normal and deaf but not for learning disabled children. Results were interpreted to indicate a deficient verbal-visual integrative process in disabled children occurring prior to the application of mnemonic strategies.

Islamic Insurance has to increase its profit, especially premium as the main income to maximize the profit. It’s also the purpose of the Sharia Unit Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance. Therefore, it needs strategies and efforts and minimizes the obstacles. One of them is the premium receivables that have matured but not collected or called the outstanding premium. This study aims to analyze problems of the premium receivables that have matured but not collected or called the outstanding premium. Therefore, it needs strategies and efforts and minimizes the obstacles. This study uses a qualitative-quantitative method using Analytic Network Process (ANP). The analysis is focused on internal-external problems and short-term-long term solutions from Sharia Unit Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance that are expected to overcome these problems. The results showed that the most priority problem is internal problems, as follows: premium payment and billing system, internal control, and less effective business processing. Meanwhile, the most priority solution is short-term, as follows: communication and confirmation, performance and operational effectiveness, and structural appreciation and punishment. The results are expected to be implemented by insurers and support the regulator to establish specific policies related to this issue.

Ranschburg Pál felfedezése, a homogén gátlás (szériális tanulásnál a listán ismétlődő egység megjegyzése romlik) az utóbbi években újra széles körben vizsgált jelenséggé vált. A hatás megbízhatósága modern módszerekkel is demonstrálható, felhasználható a rövid tartamú emlékezet szerveződését leíró modellek tesztelésére. Magának a jelenségnek a magyarázatára azonban még nem alakult ki meggyőző elmélet.Recent results demonstrated the robustness of the Ranschburg-effect (decreased performance of repeated items in serial lists). On the one hand, this research provided important data about the inadequacy of some general models of short-term serial memory. On the other hand, this research demonstrates the necessity of new specific accounts of the effect per se.
