(R)-Harmonine was synthesised in 15 % overall yield via a six-step sequence exploiting a Z-selective cross-metathesis reaction as its centrepiece. By this strategy, the cis-olefin present in the target could be installed exclusively. The use of an alcohol and an ester as the amine precursors was crucial for isolating the cross-metathesis product from the self-metathesis products. This method was also used to prepare two novel analogues of harmonine.

Sentiment analysis is the pre-eminent technology to extract the relevant information from the data domain. In this paper cross domain sentimental classification approach Cross_BOMEST is proposed. Proposed approach will extract <strong>†</strong>ve words using existing BOMEST technique, with the help of Ms Word Introp, Cross_BOMEST determines <strong>†</strong>ve words and replaces all its synonyms to escalate the polarity and blends two different domains and detects all the self-sufficient words. Proposed Algorithm is executed on Amazon datasets where two different domains are trained to analyze sentiments of the reviews of the other remaining domain. Proposed approach contributes propitious results in the cross domain analysis and accuracy of 92 % is obtained. Precision and Recall of BOMEST is improved by 16% and 7% respectively by the Cross_BOMEST.

Days from seeding to silking and days from seeding to pollen shedding were used as measures of maturity on the parents, their F1, F2 and the back-crosses of the F1 to both parents of the cross Mt42 × WF9. Readings were taken on an individual plant basis. Results indicated the existence of partial phenotypic dominance for earliness. Heritability estimates were very low, probably due to the lack of agreement between the hereditary behaviour of the two characters and the basic assumptions of the formula used. A genetic analysis by the partitioning method of the two characters, days to silking and days to pollen shedding, indicated that Mt42 and WF9 differed by four effective factors and that all of the factors for increased earliness were located in the Mt42 line. A genetic model was constructed which appeared to satisfy the data for both characters.

During the First World War, many soldiers in the Belgian Army were endowed with a decoration, in order to inspire, motivate, and reward desirable conduct. The relationship between decorations and the soldier’s self-consciousness, his behaviour and his emotions, is present in every aspect of decorating, as it emphasized his self-esteem, pride, and character. By analysing the material aspects of decorations, the ceremonies surrounding their bestowal, and the textual motivation for doing so, this article explores the functions and effects of decorating, the evaluation of behaviour and self-conscious emotions by both Army Command and soldiers.

The approximate current distribution with height in vertical tower antennae of non-uniform cross section is calculated by assuming that the cross section is that of a cylinder whose diameter changes discontinuously. The field strength distribution in the vertical plane is then calculated for this current distribution and compared with field measurements of Ballantine. This is repeated using the experimentally determined current distribution of Gihring and Brown which results in a much closer check with Ballantine's measurements. The results were then used to calculate the field strength distribution in the vertical plane of an array comprising a 0.597λ vertical double-tapered tower as radiator, and a 0.250λ vertical tower of the self-supporting type as a fed reflector.

Oles Ulianenko, one of the most talented and controversial Ukrainian writers of these days, has been dead for ten years. His literary works did not receive any appropriate professional evaluation though because literary scholars and critics applied either the wrong or unproductive research methodology due to some objective and subjective reasons. The aim of the article is to suggest an alternative, in comparison to traditional variants, theoretical literary analysis which is grounded on the principles of the corporal-mimetic method to interpret fiction done on the extremely controversial novel “The Cross on Saturn” by O. Ulianenko. Having analyzed the idea and artistic content of the novel “The Cross on Saturn”, the conclusion is made that, first, the book characters seem to function as simulacra of their shallowness because they lack the depth of inner world. But despite this fact, despite parody, superficial dialogues and surrogate actions, the main characters of the novel and the peripeteia, they find themselves in, do not lose aesthetic appeal because these characters do not need deep inner world since their function is not determined by what these trivial characters reflect in the text mirror but by what the text mirror reflects in them. Second, the shallowness is filled with the content conditioned by the incest precedent which provides the basis of Oles Ulianenko’s novel to the degree to what the writer creates the tragedy in its exact, namely ancient Geek, meaning of the notion according to which tragedy is, on the one hand, a story determined by an utterly artificial form and content and, on the other hand, it is a story which does not simply end by death, it is a story which cannot end by anything else but death. It seems as if nothing but tragedy could make it impossible for a man to have their animal essence to supersede their human part.
