In this paper, analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations on velocities and temperature with convective boundary conditions are investigated. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations by applying similarity transformations. The system of nonlinear differential equations are solved using Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM). An analytical solution is obtained for the values of Magnetic parameter M2, Prandtl number Pr, Porosity parameter

In the current work, the telegraph equation in its general form and with an integral condition is investigated. Also the well-known homotopy analysis method (HAM) is applied and an interesting iterative algorithm is proposed for solving the problem in general form. Some numerical examples are given and compared with the exact solution to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The analytical solution of the foam drainage equation with time- and space-fractional derivatives was derived by means of the homotopy analysis method (HAM). The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. Some examples are given and comparisons are made; the comparisons show that the homotopy analysis method is very effective and convenient. By choosing different values of the parameters in general formal numerical solutions, as a result, a very rapidly convergent series solution is obtained.

In this article, stagnation flow in the vicinity of a shrinking sheet is studied. A similarity transformation is employed to reduce the Navier—Stokes equations to a set of non-linear ordinary differential equations. These equations are then solved analytically by means of the homotopy analysis method (HAM). The results obtained were shown to compare well with the numerical results available in the literature for the same problem. Close agreement between the two sets of results indicates the accuracy of the HAM. The method can predict the flow field in all vertical distances from the sheet, and is also able to control the convergence of the solution. The numerical solution of the similarity equations is also developed and the results are in good agreement with the analytical results based on the HAM.
