The photoluminescence (PL) properties of transition metal ion (Mn2+ or Cu+) doped Zn–In–S/ZnS core/shell quantum dots (QDs) in solution and solid films were investigated by using steady-state and time-resolved PL spectra.

The pressure-dependent photoluminescence kinetics of CsPbBr3:Ce quantum dots was investigated by steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy. Here, we propose a novel strategy to improve the persistent luminescence of CsPbBr3 quantum...

This work describes the synthesis and photoluminescence of new heteroleptic mixed-carbene cyclometalated iridium complexes. Complexes are synthesized via a nucleophilic addition cascade reaction with isocyanide-bound precursors. The steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence properties of the compounds are measured, both in solution and in poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) thin films. Full experimental details are given in the main text and supporting information.<br>

ABSTRACTThe degradation mechanism of CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) was investigated with steady-state and time-resolved photoluminescence measurements. Our study reveals that the degradation is associated with the decreasing quantum efficiency of the CdSe/ZnS QDs in the devices. Two mechanisms that cause the efficiency reduction were verified in the experiments: i.e., thermal instability and luminescence quenching.
