The paper research the loading methods of medium-speed coal mill and the variable loading system of LM18.20 coal mill. The experiment result has shown that using variable hydraulic loading system can make the coal mill running steadily with stable output under varies output conditions; and the mill's loading range is extended; the mill power consumption and wear rate of grinding parts are reduced.

This paper makes an experimental research on the screw conveyor feeding system in biomass pyrolytic devices. And ensure the screw conveyor’s boot order, appropriate speed and part of the power consumption. In the end, it makes a comparison with the experimental result and the theoretical calculation result. And find out the error, make an useful suggestion to the further optimization of biomass pyrolytic devices as well.

The success of 200m3 and 300m3 flotation cell in industrial application calls for matching conditioner. Experimental research in Ф6.5m conditioner is taken to select suitable impeller and rotating speed. 4PB impeller and 4HB impeller are compared in flow features and power consumption in single phase flow. The conclusion that the power consumption per cycle-volume by 4HB impeller is 80% of that by 4PB impeller is drawn. 4PB impeller and 4HB impeller are compared in suspension characteristics in double-phase flow. The conclusion that 4HB impeller can suspense the mineral by lower power consumption while 4PB impeller cannot under the same situation is drawn. Thus 4HB impeller is prior to be used in large pulp conditioner. Based on this experiment, many large pulp conditioners are successfully applied

One of the most basic duties in the processing of fruit juices and drinks involves the economical, sanitary heating or cooling of products. These may be liquids or fluids of high viscosity or those containing particulate matter or pulp. The most commonly used forms of heat transfer equipment for these duties are the plate and tubular heat exchangers. Each is available in many different configurations and designs. Each is tailored to perform a variety of process duties while reducing fuel, water, and power consumption in keeping with the urgent need for better management of natural resources. In this paper, we describe an extensible experimental infrastructure for evaluating the micro-architectural leakage, based on power consumption, that stems from a physical device. Building on existing literature, we use it to systematically study 14 different devices, which span 4 different instruction set architectures and 4 different vendors. The study allows a characterisation of each device with respect to any leakage effects stemming from sources within the micro-architectural implementation. We use it, for example, to identify and document several novel leakage effects (e.g., due to speculative instruction execution), and scenarios where an assumption about leakage is non-portable between different yet compatible devices.Ours is the widest study of its kind we are aware of, and highlights a range of challenges with respect to 1) the design, implementation, and evaluation of, e.g., masking schemes, 2) construction of accurate leakage models, and 3) selection of suitable devices for experimental research. For example, in relation to 1), we cast further doubt on whether a given device upholds the assumptions required by a given masking scheme; in relation to 2), we conclude that (statistical or formal) device leakage models must include information about the micro-architecture being modelled; in relation to 3), we claim the near mono-culture of devices that dominates existing literature is insufficient to support general claims regarding leakage. This is particularly important in the context of the FIPS 140-3 standard for non-invasive side-channel evaluation.

With the rapid development of desktop computer, its motherboard power consumption has become an important factor. In this paper, experimental research under different conditions of the motherboard components is carried out. We select four kinds of load conditions of empty load, 100% load, one high-definition movie online display and two high-definition movies online display simultaneously. Through the temperature changing, its thermal effect is shown and so as to understand its heat transfer mechanism of desktop computer motherboard. From the experimental results, it is seen that, when working time more than forty minutes, the computer motherboard temperature will reach the maximum value in each operating state.
