Due to the acceleration of urbanization in China, construction technology in the construction field has also been continuously developed. The fair-faced concrete is often referred to as decorative concrete. It is a new type of concrete that has been continuously developed as people's demands for architectural decoration and it becomes more widely used in modern construction projects. In this paper, by introducing the types and composition of fair-faced concrete, a series of fair-faced concrete construction technical measures, as well as pouring and conservation measures, have been proposed in conjunction with actual construction projects, and examples have been analyzed in order to better apply the fair-faced concrete technology into modern buildings.

The use of innovative technologies in construction contributes to the development of the urban environment. Reduction of construction time allows more intensive development of the territory, as well as to reduce the period of inconvenience to citizens associated with construction. Such intensification is possible due to the development of organizational and technological concepts aimed at reducing the time of finished products output while ensuring their high quality and efficient use of all types of resources involved in the construction process. So, the achieved results in the field of introduction of continuous-flow type of operation, reducing work labor input and increasing the intensity of labor have created a high potential for cast-in-place construction of buildings at a speed comparable with the use of prefabricated reinforced concrete technology. Despite this, the analysis of various situations connected with the cast-in-place reinforced concrete construction has shown that in most cases, the actual investment period completion dates for such projects take much longer than planned. This fact has a very negative impact on the cost of construction. A characteristic feature of the cast-in-place reinforced concrete construction is the circumstance that such a situation can be observed even at an advanced level of organizational management when the conditions for the continuity of supplies of materials, highly mechanized work and the scheduled provision of the production process with qualified labor resources are held. The comprehensive analysis conducted during the research of the organization of construction showed that an essential drawback of modern approaches to the organizational management in the case of cast-in-place construction is the excessive conservatism of methods that does not ensure the proper speed of making managerial decisions in the event of deviations in execution of certain works. The author conducted and presents an analysis of the factors influencing the efficiency of high-rise construction. Зresented directions of further actions to improve the efficiency of construction and reduce its time frame.

Prefabricated concrete (PC) buildings are a relatively new type of housing construction. It is not only necessary to ensure the quality of PC components, but also to guarantee the quality of key technical nodes of construction. Based on specific engineering project cases, this article proposes solutions and methods for the key technical nodes of prefabricated concrete construction, and proves their feasibility and effectiveness through practical applications. It illustrates an optimization of prefabricated concrete construction technology to improve construction quality.

A new type of cement-soil mixing pile reinforced by basalt fibre is proposed for increasing the bearing capacity of cement-soil mixing piles. This work primarily consists of three parts. First, the process of construction technology is proposed, which could allow uniform mixing of the basalt fibre in cement-soil. Second, the optimal proportions of the compound mixtures and the mechanical properties of the pile material are obtained from unconfined compression strength test, tensile splitting strength test, and triaxial shear test under different conditions. Third, the reliability of the construction technology, optimal proportions, and mechanical properties are verified by testing the mechanical properties of the drilling core sample on site.

Chimney is the building which is high but the horizontal cross section is small, so the high altitude work surface is small and difficult to construct, in which the stability of the scaffold and the safety of vertical transport equipment are especially important. For the serious problems arising in the prophase construction of the 50m chimney, double rows steel pipe scaffold was designed outside the chimney, and the vertical transportation uses the external grillage hoisting frame. Reformed the internal existing scaffold into pedestrian passage to separate people and material, and a detailed calculation analysis of the structural members such as scaffold, grillage hoisting frame and other structures was carried out. Large deformation, destabilization and other safety problems of the scaffold, grillage hoisting frame and other structures were not arising during the anaphase construction process, which indicates that the construction technical measures and calculation and analysis results are with important guiding significance to guarantee the smooth of the construction, and also can be referenced by other similar projects.
