Mobile ropeways for carrying out transport operations, formed with the help of terminal transport units connected by a single cable system on the basis of self-propelled wheeled or tracked chassis of increased carrying capacity and cross-country ability, are a promising type of lifting and transport equipment that ensures the rapid deployment of the necessary technological means. The article discusses the issues of preliminary arrangement of the rod mechanism for installation and fixation in the working position of the end tower using a folding rod consisting of two articulated links for a constructive variant of the outrigger placement of the tower on a rotary platform. The design and principle of operation of the rod mechanism is considered. A mathematical model has been developed that provides the required normative vertical dimension of a self-propelled vehicle for the purpose of its safe independent movement to the deployment site on general-purpose highways. The analysis of the influence of normative dimensional requirements, the structural dimensions of the bearing frame of the chassis and the height of the end tower on the main structural dimensions of the articulated folding rod in the transport position is carried out.

This paper analyzes the effects of exchange rate volatility on exports and imports of a range of goods between Russia and its 70 trading partners from 2004 until 2018. The goods in question fall into eight product categories, as follows: (i) agricultural raw materials; (ii) chemicals; (iii) food; (iv) fuels; (v) manufactured goods; (vi) ores and metals; (vii) textiles; and (viii) machinery and transport equipment. Exchange rate volatility is measured using the standard deviation of the first difference in the logarithmic daily nominal exchange rate. The paper concludes that exchange rate volatility had a negative impact on exports of agricultural raw materials, manufactured goods, and machinery and transport equipment. In contrast, it was found to have a positive and significant impact on trade in fuels and imports of chemicals and textiles.

This research is motivated by the processing of palm oil, transportation factors get special attention. The transportation of palm fruit from the garden to the factory should be as fast as possible so that thefruit harvested today can be processed directly so that free fatty acids are not high. Extensive oil palmplantations and garden conditions far from the factory, it will be more difficult to regulate the entry ofFresh Fruit Bunches (TBS) to the Palm Oil Factory (PKS), so that the company must have a goodmanagement system that can run effectively and efficiently so that it needs proper transportation forperushan so that it can transport all tbs harvested by minimizing time, cost and maintain the quality ofTBS.From the description above, the formula that can be formulated in this study is to know the time oftransportation, the needs of transport equipment and what obstacles are encountered at the time of TBStransportation. While the limitations of the problem there is tbs transport research contained in fadelingBrafo, Alfah and Delta with different distances (near, medium and farthest). The purpose of this researchis to know the process of planning the needs of TBS conveyances, as well as knowing the obstacleswhen transporting TBS.The results of research conducted at PT. Berau Karetindo Lestari shows that tbs transportationplanning includes the production of TBS per day, TBS transport time, availability of conveyance, transportation needs and constraints in transportation. In Bravo afdeling requires 2 units of tarktor, forafdeling Alfah 4 units taktor, and afdeling Delta requires 3 units of tractor. As for the needs of the truckon Loading ramp 1 as many as 10 units and Loading ramp 2 to 8 units. This is obtained after calculatingthe number of transport equipment needs to transport TBS every day. For the overall needs of thecompany, tractors are needed as many as 17 and DT as many as 18 units. As for the obstacles at thetime of tbs transportation, namely, the road conditions in TPH are not good and the distance of thefactory is so far that it takes so much time to get to the factory.

The research relates to the field of automation of technological preparation of production in transport equipment manufacturing sector and proposes the concept of choosing the optimal design model for a complex of technical means within a control system in automated production. The factors characterising the dynamics of the processes have been studied, and the corresponding mathematical models have been drawn up, considering the cost characteristics and the economic feasibility of adopting integratedtechnical means. The main objective of this work is to propose consideration of all parameters that have weight, including the dynamics of technical and economic processes. It is shown that cost characteristics are direct indicators of economic efficiency of the implemented complex of technical means.Methodically, this work was carried out based on economic and mathematical analysis of adoption of a complex of technical means at a transport equipment manufacturing enterprise considering approaches previously suggested by researchers. Thus, for the most accurate determination of the final cost of a certain product option, it is necessary to consider all factors of design decisions. Based on these data, a model of cost characteristics of products is built, analysing which it is possible to select the optimal product design, optimal assemblies and units with specific components and specific quality indicators. This allows obtaining the optimal technological version of the design solution during manufacturing.A method of searching for an optimal production cycle when introducing an automated production system is proposed. It is proposed to consider the losses associated with temporary freezing of funds, including the need to perform a convolution of optimization criteria. To formalise the process of making optimal decisions, it is also proposed to harmonise the products and market needs. Besides, the search methodology should include the search for an optimal group of employees responsible for implementation of specific and narrowly focused tasks, which makes it possible to improve the quality indicators of automated production with an adopted complex of technical means (CTM).To minimise the time spent on entire commissioning of a product from the development stage to receipt of the finished product, it is required to speed up the development work. This can be done by increasing production capacity, as well as by reducing the time of partial cycles of the structure’s existence.Even though the model is becoming excessively redundant, we suppose that introduction of additional elements is necessary to consider all the nuances that help choosing the best solution regarding optimisation issues, which will allow determining of the full economic efficiency of the complex.

Abstract The paper discusses the issues of increasing the dumping capacity of hydrodumps and their reclamation by filling them with dump embankments from relatively strong overburden. Without the implementation of this measure, the alluvial massifs are inaccessible for a long time for various mining and transport equipment due to the low bearing capacity of the rocks. The specifics of the formation of the composition, state and properties of rocks of alluvial massifs due to the development of fractionation and filtration consolidation processes are noted. The technology of dumping the surface of hydrodump by controlled deformation of the slopes of the first dump layer has been substantiated. A method has been developed for predicting the parameters of intrusion-replacement of alluvial rocks by bulk ones using numerical modeling of the FEM in the Euler formulation. The obtained mechanical properties and regularities of the deformation behavior of technogenic rocks were used to perform geomechanical calculations when justifying the stable parameters of the slopes of the formed natural-technical systems (NTS) “hydrodump+dump” and compaction of embankments to justify the mining-technical stage of reclamation. A geoecological assessment of the impact of the dump NTS on the natural environment has been carried out, which is expressed in the acquisition of land from circulation and the disruption of the natural landscape. The conditions for the formation of technogenic eluvium on the surface of the dump suitable for biological reclamation are considered.

This paper describes specialisation dynamics in Estonian export using revealed comparative advantage (RCA) and intra-industry trade (IIT) measures. We analyse the development of the distribution of comparative advantage using descriptive statistics and Galtonian regression. Intra-industry trade dynamic is analyzed using a marginal approach. We generally observe a stable specialization structure of Estonian exports in 2006-2011, along with some changes in specialization in the years following that. Based on the analysis of the RSA index and the Galtonian regression, we can make the conclusion about the diversification of the specialisation structure. The most important component of trade expansion in Estonia within the considered time period is the intra-industry trade. In 2016-2020 there was a significant increase in the specialization shift component in trade dynamic, which indicates the structural changes in Estonian exports. The most essential structural changes during the last five years occurred in such commodity sectors as food and live animals, animal and vegetable oils, as well as machinery and transport equipment, which were caused by the increasing share of specialization shift.

Abstract The paper presents the result of solving a relevant scientific and practical problem, which consists in the development of methods and diagnostic tools and improving the efficiency of monitoring the technical condition of transport equipment, in particular elements and units of marine railways, through the introduction of an automated system for diagnostics and monitoring of technical condition, which provides an increase in the reliability of diagnosis, reducing the time and cost of diagnostics. The analysis showed that the existing methods for determining the main parameters of the technical condition of elements and units of slips, which are the basis for reliable diagnostics of the technical condition, need to be improved. A method has been developed for monitoring the integrity of the main elements of marine railways based on the analysis of the temperature and natural vibration frequency of the main elements, which, in contrast to the existing methods, gives an error in measuring the signal frequency of less than 0.05%, which makes it possible to determine defects at early stages of their development.

What matters for China’s future growth is not the volume of exports, but whether China will continue to enhance the export competitiveness of high-tech products. Using the export data of 25 countries from 1998 to 2019, this paper measures the export technological sophistication of machinery and transport equipment and constructs an empirical model to study the impact factors of export technological sophistication of machinery and transport equipment in China. The results show that the export technological sophistication is not high, although the export volume of machinery and transportation equipment is large. FDI, human capital, and the previous phase of export technological sophistication have a significant positive effect on the technological sophistication of export; however, the abundant natural resource has a significant negative effect. Finally, some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward based on the empirical results.

This article discusses the issues of autonomous operation of electrical agricultural equipment based on the transmission of electricity over a distance. The main point of this article is that tractors that work in the field are driven by electric motors, with the need to use expensive batteries. The issues of the impact and safety of this technology on the environment and humans are considered. The main problem of the creation, maintenance and operation of transport equipment, including agricultural equipment, is the high cost of maintenance and fuel, which are constantly increasing. In addition, the environmental problem, which has become so acute in recent years, global warming, the fuel crisis and the need to transfer all transport equipment to electric traction, make us look for new ways to solve the problem of environmental pollution and save resources, especially non-renewable energy sources. The use of electrical energy for traction of agricultural machinery that work in the fields or in other industries has been used for a long time, and in the early stages of the development of transport, it was electric transport that occupied the main part, before the invention of the internal combustion engine. Including at the Kharkov Tractor Plant there were developments (and still are), a prototype of the use of electric motors as the main unit for movement. Based on the above, it is obvious that electric traction for transport is obviously environmentally friendly and safe, although there are a number of limitations in this matter as well, but the unresolved problems of the limited use of the storage battery force us to look for new sources of energy. This article proposes to consider the possibility of using electric traction for agricultural machinery with the supply of operating tractors in the fields with the help of a directed electromagnetic wave with its transformation into electrical energy, which will be supplied to the electric motor.

In transport systems, all equipment requires maintenance, which directly affects the machine’s availability and consequently the planned transport schedule. The purpose of this paper is to carry out a method for integrating recovery jobs in railway systems. The proposed method allows the insertion of preventive and corrective maintenance operations when the transport equipment is available in order to minimize periods of inactivity, avoid catastrophic scenarios, and maintain stability and safety of the studied networks. A computing algorithm, allowing insertion of the planned recovery tasks in periods of metro availability, without changing the initial scheduling solution, is established. Finally, we illustrate the implementation of the proposed approach on Tunisian Sahel railway transport networks.
