To detect the material defect of dry transformer winding, a series of study were carried out concerning about the law of absorption ray intensity of matter, detection methods and procedures and Photographic density variation rule of copper and aluminium. The field detection was also conducted in residential area without preliminary treatment.

Abstract Rods of various configurations are elements of many structures and machines. Therefore, the acoustic and vibration diagnostics of such parts has been widely developed. The paper considers the problem of determining the variable density of the rod from the natural frequencies of longitudinal vibrations. It is assumed that the density changes along the axis and is described by a polynomial function. This approach allows one to determine the law of density variation from a finite set of eigenvalues. The results of the study can find applications for finding hidden defects in steel and composite rods, which arise during the production process or due to corrosion.

The newly identified 2019-nCoV (SARS-CoV-2) RNA virus has caused over 80,000 laboratory-confirmed human infections in China (as of Mar. 1st, 2020), and is now becoming a global epidemic issue. As a result, highly sensitive, reliable and field-deployable methods to detect 2019-nCoV that can be developed in a shortest possible time are urgently needed. In this work, we introduce whole-course encapsulated and ultrasensitive field detection methods against 2019-nCoV gene. We applied isothermal exponential amplification methods via reverse transcription plus subsequent enzymatic recombinase amplification (ERA), a modified recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA), to amplify trace level of 2019-nCoV RNA. We designed both exo FRET probe and nfo affinity probe for easy detection of the amplified nucleic acids. These methods can be developed within a few days and as low as 0.32 aM (i.e. 0.32×10-18 M) of RNA can be reliably detected.
A test section was selected in Luo-San expressway.Four detection methods of compaction degree which are sand cone method, cutting ring, nuclear density instrument and drop hammer frequent mensuration£¨LY-1 apparatus£©have been adopted in testing road. And the detection results about four methods were analyzed and compared.Sand cone method was conducted as a standard method of field detection for compaction degree, other three methods were regressed with sand cone method, and the relationship was obtained. The relevance of cutting ring method with sand cone method is excellent, the relevance of other two methods with sand cone method is slightly bad which may because of the soil and construction methods. But in general, it is approved that sand cone method method which act as the standard one of detection for compaction degree is worthwhile extending.

Rural women have the potential to mobilize herself and her community towards a sovereign and just rural community. However, rural women frequently face form of discrimination that impede them to achieve their maximum potential. In the midst of forest and land degradation, those gender-based discrimination also prevent women from participating in land and forest governance that is vital for the rural community’s livelihood. An example of form of gender-based discrimination experienced by women in several regions in Aceh is discrimination in accessing public information. This article describes and analyses several Aceh women’s experiences in using the rights-based approach on access to information. The women in this article have used the Law on Public Information as the basis for their advocacy towards the land and forest governance in their residential area. These experiences of the rural women have shown shows that women have not only interests upon the information on natural resources, but they also possess capability, perseverance, and will to obtain such information.

Abstract It is still unable to determine the categories of particle that composes the dark matter due to the shortage of detection methods. In this paper, we used the methods of separation of variables, analogy, and dimensional analysis to investigate dark matter detection. The three different models, including the WIMP, axions, and MACHOs, are considered first, which described the properties of dark matter as well. Subsequently, the three currents methods of detecting dark matter, and shortage of those methods are discussed. According to the drawbacks, we have related Gravitational Waves and Cosmic Rays to detecting dark matter, which may contribute to the further detection of dark matter. The milestones achieved these years have also been briefly described, followed by some up-gradations of detectors and further research schemes. These new methods proposed in theory will be upgraded and implemented soon. These results shed light for future dark matter detection.
