With the development and progress of the economy and society, the management level of my country’s construction projects has also been greatly improved, especially in the construction of water conservancy projects, and the cost management in the process has made significant progress; the water conservancy industry is in order to improve the market of enterprises. Competitiveness, to increase the market share of the company, it is necessary to improve the management level of the company in an all-round way, and maximize the economic benefits of the company. In order to improve the efficiency of cost management and operation management in the construction of water conservancy projects, this study conducts a theoretical analysis of the project cost management, taking the reinforcement treatment of the expansion joints of the culverts of the main canal project of the first phase of the water diversion water supply as a research case, and analyzes the expansion joints of the culverts of the project. This paper conducts a comprehensive investigation, proposes a repair plan using chemical bonding with external TPO waterstop and PTN petroleum asphalt polyurethane joint material, and makes a detailed investment estimate for project implementation. The results show that the bonding externally attached TPO waterstop and PTN petroleum asphalt polyurethane joint materials can meet the needs of this design for strengthening and strengthening the waterstop of the expansion joint of the culvert. The total static investment of construction engineering, mechanical and electrical equipment and installation engineering, construction temporary engineering, independent costs and basic reserve costs is 4,585,800 yuan, of which the total cost of underdrain expansion joint treatment is 3,594,600 yuan, which is in line with expectations, indicating that the water conservancy project of this design. The cost management plan is feasible.

In order to survive in the fierce market competition, construction enterprise must be able to provide high quality and low cost building products. The cost management level of enterprise determines its ability to obtain economic benefits. The responsibility cost management mode that involves everyone participation could enhance management level of enterprises. To eliminate internal information island and information asymmetry, information should communicate between each cost management department. The responsibility cost management model of internal information circulation covers the whole process of project, the cost of project could be reflected timely and accurately, the sufficient information could provide support for every manager decision, then the effectiveness and overall level of responsibility cost management could be enhanced. Thus, with the help of information system, construction enterprise could form a scientific and standardized management model.

In this paper, the study on the multi-storied building with and without expansion joint when it is subjected to seismic forces in both x and y direction are taken into consideration. By maintain same floor area of different plans the expansion joint is provided along the weaker column forces stretch and stiffed the building in order to make more resistant when compared to the plans without expansion joints. The analysis is done using ETABS 2016. The parameters such as shear force and bending moment at the critical column are considered and compared for with expansion joint and without expansion joint. It is concluded that the L shaped building shear force is being decreased from the bottom to top storey of the building when compared to without expansion joint. The effect of expansion joint is shown effectively on U-shaped building in terms of reduction of shear force and bending moment when compared to L-shaped and T-shaped, it is because of providing two expansion joints since there are two critical and weaker columns stretch. When it comes to economy of the structure, the cost of the construction of the structure with expansion joint is relatively high but it can resistant far better in case of seismic forces. The future scope of the study can be the type of filler material to be used such that the reduction of cost and to maintain structure integrity.

A harsh climate, extended dry periods and relatively expensive water resources underly the potential for effluent reuse in the Northern Territory, Australia. The cost of supplying potable water and the potential offsetting effects of utilising sewage effluent are reviewed. The need to firmly establish the true cost to the community of different supply options is identified. Major cost benefits accrue where reuse will enable deferment of either significant potable source augmentation or sewage treatment works upgrading and where horticultural prospects are good at a reuse site close to the treatment works. An overall strategy plan for increasing the potential of reuse is described. This plan includes firm cost management procedures, marketing activities, appropriate land planning measures and a commitment to research and development.

Expansion joints are a weak and fragile part of bridge superstructure. The damage or failure of the expansion joint will lead to the decline of bridge durability and endanger the bridge structure and traffic safety. To improve the service life and performance of bridge expansion joints, the ideal method is to use seamless expansion joints. In this study, starting from the commonly used asphalt mixture gradation of seamless expansion joint, and taking into account the actual situation of bridge expansion joint structure and environment in China, the gradation and asphalt-aggregate ratio are preliminarily designed. Through a Marshall test, the corresponding asphalt mixture is evaluated and analyzed according to the stability, flow value, and void ratio, and the optimal gradation and asphalt-aggregate ratio are determined. Finally, the asphalt mixture is prepared with the mixture ratio design, and the test results of an immersion Marshall test, fatigue performance test, and full-scale test verify that the asphalt mixture meets the road performance requirements of seamless expansion joints. On the basis of the experimental data, the performance of large sample asphalt mixture is continuously tested, compared, and optimized. The results show that the asphalt mixture ratio designed is true and reliable, which can provide reference for the optimal design of seamless expansion joint filler.
