A search for the process e+e−→ D*0(2007) has been performed with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 e+e−-collider. Two main decay modes of the D*0(2007) decay, D0π0 and D0γ, followed by D0 → K+π−π+π−are used in this analysis. With an integrated luminosity of 3.7 pb−1 collected at the center-of-mass energy Ec.m. =2006.62 MeV our preliminary upper limit is BD*0→e+ e− <1.6× 10−6 at 90%C.L.

Abstract Using 10.1 × 109J/ψ events produced by the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPCII) at a center-of-mass energy $$ \sqrt{s} $$ s = 3.097 GeV and collected with the BESIII detector, we present a search for the rare semi-leptonic decay J/ψ → D−e+νe + c.c. No excess of signal above background is observed, and an upper limit on the branching fraction ℬ(J/ψ → D−e+νe + c. c.) < 7.1 × 10−8 is obtained at 90% confidence level. This is an improvement of more than two orders of magnitude over the previous best limit.

In the framework of the littlest Higgs Model with T-parity (LHT), we investigate the single production of vector-like top partner [Formula: see text] decaying to [Formula: see text] in the leptonic channel at the high energy [Formula: see text] collision. We utilize the polarized electron beam and photon beam to enhance the signal and propose a search strategy by performing a detector simulation. On the basis of the current limits from the precision electroweak data and Higgs data, we find that the top partner mass can be excluded up to 1350 (1380) GeV with integrated luminosity of 1000 fb[Formula: see text] and 1400 (1470) GeV with integrated luminosity of 3000 fb[Formula: see text] for the [Formula: see text] TeV (2.4 TeV) at the [Formula: see text] level. If the center-of-mass energy can be improved to 3.0 TeV, the limits on the top partner mass will reach 1450 (1550) GeV with integrated luminosities of 1000 (3000) fb[Formula: see text].

The total photon-proton cross section has been measured in the process e+ p → e+ + γ* p → e+ + X with the ZEUS detector at HERA. Events were accepted with photon virtuality Q2 < 0.02 GeV 2, with average γ* p center-of-mass energy Wγ*p = 207 GeV . The data were recorded in a dedicated, systematics-controlled run with an integrated luminosity of 50 nb -1.

We analyze relevant signals expected at the LHC for a left sneutrino as the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP). The discussion is carried out in the “[Formula: see text] from [Formula: see text]” supersymmetric standard model [Formula: see text], where the presence of [Formula: see text]-parity breaking couplings involving right-handed neutrinos solves the [Formula: see text] problem and reproduces neutrino data. The sneutrinos are pair produced via a virtual [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] or [Formula: see text] in the [Formula: see text] channel. From the prompt decay of a pair of left sneutrinos LSPs of any family, a significant diphoton signal plus missing transverse energy (MET) from neutrinos can be present in the mass range 118–132 GeV, with 13 TeV center-of-mass energy and an integrated luminosity of 100 fb[Formula: see text]. In addition, in the case of a pair of tau left sneutrinos LSPs, given the large value of the tau Yukawa coupling diphoton plus leptons and/or multileptons can appear. We find that the number of expected events for the multilepton signal, together with properly adopted search strategies, is sufficient to give a significant evidence for a sneutrino of mass in the range 130–310 GeV, even with the integrated luminosity of 20 fb[Formula: see text]. In the case of the signal producing diphoton plus leptons, an integrated luminosity of 100 fb[Formula: see text] is needed to give a significant evidence in the mass range 95–145 GeV. Finally, we discuss briefly the presence of displaced vertices and the associated range of masses.

The lifetime is among the fundamental properties of particles and is one of the important observables in heavy hadrons allowing to test the theoretical tools describing their physics. This report presents lifetime measurements of B0, B0s, Λ0b and B+c hadrons performed on data, corresponding to 19.7 fb-1, collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC at a center-of-mass energy of √s = 8 TeV. The B0 lifetime is measured to be 453:0± 1:6 (stat) ± 1:5 (syst) μm in J/ψK0S and 457:8 ± 2:7 (stat) ± 2:7 (syst) μm in J/ψK*(892)0. The B0s meson lifetime is measured in two decay modes with differing contributions from the heavy and light eigenstates, resulting in two different measured lifetimes: 504:3 ± 10:5 (stat) ±3:7 (syst) μm in J/ψπ+π- and 443:9±2:0 (stat) ±1:2 (syst) μm in J/ψϕ(1020) respectively. The lifetime of the Λ0b hadron is found to be 443:1±8:2 (stat) ±2:7 (syst) μm. The B+c lifetime is measured with respect to the B+ lifetime and is found to be 162:3 ± 8:2 (stat) ± 4:7 (syst) ± 0:1 (τB+) μm.

We study the processpp→QV+X(whereQ=t,bandV=g,γ,andZ) through the anomalous interactions of the new heavy quarks at the LHC. Considering the present limits on the masses and mixings, the signatures of the heavy quark anomalous interactions are discussed and analysed at the LHC for the center of mass energy of 13 TeV. An important sensitivity to anomalous couplingsκgt′/Λ=0.10 TeV−1,κγt′/Λ=0.14 TeV−1,κZt′/Λ=0.19 TeV−1andκgb′/Λ=0.15 TeV−1,κZb′/Λ=0.19 TeV−1,κγb′/Λ=0.30 TeV−1for the mass of 750 GeV of the new heavy quarkst′andb′can be reached for an integrated luminosity ofLint=100 fb−1.

The KLOE experiment at DAΦNE has collected data for an integrated luminosity of ~ 1.3 fb-1 from e+e- collisions at center-of-mass energy around the ϕ-meson peak, W ~1.02 GeV . A selection of results obtained from a sample of 450 pb-1 of data acquired during year 2001 and 2002 is presented. Studying tagged KS and KL-mesons produced in the reaction e+e-→ϕ→KS KL we measured the branching ratio of the decay KS→πeν, the upper limit on the decay KS→π0π0π0, and the main KL decay branching ratios. Exploiting the initial state radiation in the reaction e+e-→π+π-γ, we extracted the hadronic cross-section as a function of the squared center-of-mass energy sπ of the π π system, in the range 0.35 < sπ < 0.95 GeV 2.

Abstract The first search for the rare radiative decay $$ {\Xi}_b^{-} $$ Ξ b − → Ξ−γ is performed using data collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb−1. The $$ {\Xi}_b^{-} $$ Ξ b − → Ξ−J/ψ channel is used as normalization. No $$ {\Xi}_b^{-} $$ Ξ b − → Ξ−γ signal is found and an upper limit of $$ \mathcal{B} $$ B ($$ {\Xi}_b^{-} $$ Ξ b − → Ξ−γ) < 1.3 × 10−4 at 95% confidence level is obtained.

Searches have been performed for the trilepton decay signature from the associated production of the lightest chargino and the next-to-lightest neutralino in leptonic channels with (a) two electrons and a lepton, (b) an electron, a muon and a lepton (c) two muons and a lepton and (d) two like-sign muons. The searches use data taken with the DØ detector at the Fermilab Tevatron proton-antiproton collider at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 147 pb-1 to 249 pb-1.
