This paper investigates grocery store selection among Germans in Greater London compared to native UK residents. Since consumers hold so much power, the grocery retail sector is highly competitive. Additionally, understanding consumer behaviour in urban areas with large numbers of foreign nationals is a complex matter. As internationalisation continues borders are becoming increasingly blurred. Therefore, it is crucial for managers of grocery stores to understand potential cultural differences in terms of store choice. The survey examined the changes, if any, in store choice determinants among Germans living in Greater London compared retrospectively to when they were living in Germany. To provide a comparison, a small group of native UK consumers were also surveyed. The resulting comparison revealed some significant differences and changes in grocery store selection over time. These findings are also likely to be useful for managers in the grocery retail sector when addressing the dynamic nature of transnational mobile and connected consumer markets.

Culture growing in Indonesia and overseas intrinsically dynamic. Nature of culture as a result of human creativity is always moving and displacement. When his journey to the vibrant place anyway, culture is likely to mix with the native culture which then grow and develop into a new culture. Culture is a strong factor that affects the mindset. Over time, society has a way of looking at the world deal, behave, and interact with each other. In other words, they have their own color and pattern of the deal while making rules in social life. Yogyakarta in Java, which is known as one of the cultural centers of Java development, especially ritual Grebeg Maulud. Ritual Grebeg Maulud over time reflecting the constantly changing movement of social change, culture, politics, economics and society in his day. Ritual is a means of connecting Grebeg Maulud transcendental between man and God (Manunggaling Kawula-Gusti) and guidance from the teachings of the holy book (Islam). But this time Grebeg Maulud also has another function, namely as a spectacle. This suggests a cultural shift from the sacred to the profane. Batik as a dress code in the Carnival celebrations Grebeg Maulud is one reflection of the existence of culture in Yogyakarta Palace. The use of batik in a ritual procession Grebeg Maulud is a tradition that continues to this day. Batik palace is considered one of the symbols of the existence of power relations by creating a specific motive for a particular class. In this article, I discuss three statistical tools that have proven pivotal in linguistic research, particularly those studies that seek to evaluate large datasets. These tools are the Gaussian Curve, significance tests, and hierarchical clustering. I present a brief description of these tools and their general uses. Then, I apply them to an analysis of the variations between the “biblical” DSS and our other witnesses, focusing upon variations involving particles. Finally, I engage the recent debate surrounding the diachronic study of Biblical Hebrew. This article serves a dual function. First, it presents statistical tools that are useful for many linguistic studies. Second, it develops an analysis of the he-locale, as it is used in the “biblical” Dead Sea Scrolls, Masoretic Text, and Samaritan Pentateuch. Through that analysis, this article highlights the value of inferential statistical tools as we attempt to better understand the Hebrew of our ancient witnesses.

Here, we report an exquisite strategy that the B12 enzymes exploit to manipulate the reactivity of their radical intermediate (Adenosyl radical). Based on the quantum-mechanic calculations, these enzymes utilize a little known long-ranged through space quantum Coulombic effect (QCE). The QCE causes the radical to acquire an electronic structure that contradicts the Aufbau Principle: The singly-occupied molecular orbital (SOMO) is no longer the highest-occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the radical is unable to react with neighbouring substrates. The dynamic nature of the enzyme and its structure is expected to be such that the reactivity of the radical is not restored until it is moved into close proximity of the target substrate. We found that the hydrogen bonding interaction between the nearby conserved glutamate residue and the ribose ring of Adenosyl radical plays a crucial role in manipulating the orbital ordering
