This study aims to describe Senior High School students critical thinking process in mathematics problem posing based on their mathematics ability level that is consisted of high, medium and low ability level. The subjects of this study is are five grade X students. The data were collected through semi-structured interview. This research then illustrates senior high school students critical thinking process in mathematic problem posing based on their mathematic ability level as follows: 1) The student have high mathematic ability in mathematic problem posing that might be categorized baik could understand the instruction and information, use her previous knowledge as the source of idea and having some criteria to make problems. 2) The student have medium mathematics ability in mathematics problem posing that might be categorized baik could understand the instruction and information related to problem posing, identify the instruction basic assumptions due to the knowledge she attained form given information. 3) The student have low mathematics ability in mathematics problem posing that might be categorized kurang baik could understand the instruction and information in mathematics problem posing. Referring to the research findings, it is known that senior high school students critical thinking process in mathematics posing problem is different based on their mathematic ability level.

This literature study aims to obtain the thinking process profile of senior high school students in physics problem-solving based on differences in emotional intelligence levels and gender. In this study used literature study method with phenomenological analysis, functionalism analysis, and critical analysis. The sources used to compile this article include some literature on emotional intelligence, gender effect, thinking process, problem-solving, and several empirical study on students in physics problem-solving, especially in senior high school. The authors summed up the conclusions based on the results of the literature study as follows: (1) The profile of the thinking process is influenced by emotional intelligence level and gender; (2) Emotional intelligence is directly proportional to the thinking process of students in the process of solving physics problems; (3) Students who have high emotional intelligence are more likely to have high physics problem-solving skills; (4) Gender differences (male and female) in solving physics problems, generally, are still debatable, in which sense is it better? Then it further research needs that is valid and reliable to answer this question. (5) There is a strong tendency that the male gender is more resilient in dealing with and solving complex physics problems; (6) The gender of female students is superior in solving physics problems that require very high detail. The main implication of this article is to obtain the thinking process profile of senior high school students in physics problem-solving based on terms of differences in emotional intelligence levels and gender.

Combinatorial thinking is a way of thinking in solving combinatory problems. Combinatory problems are one of the difficult problems for students to solve. This study aims to analyses students’ combinatorial thinking processes in solving problems. Given two combinatory problems that consist of problems with multiplication rule and combination. The Problems were given to two 11th grade senior-high school students. The results obtained were that there was a tendency for male Participants to do the two different ways which are direct counting and using diagram. The female participants did the work with one way which is direct counting. On more complex issues, namely about combination, students' thinking models go through stages of set of outcomes. From this research, it is expected that combinatory material learning is emphasized on the discovery of formulas by students themselves inductively, especially deductively. So that in this case the students interpret the combinatory formula more.

The aims of the research is to describe the thinking process at senior high school students in solving the application problems of the derivative function viewedfrom personality type choleric. The research was a descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the research were students of class XII Senior High School 1 Surakarta, who has personality type choleric. The results of the research showed that thinking process students in solving the application problems of the derivative function for choleric student: (a) reading the problem and creating an image, understanding who is known to convert information into mathematical form, and looking the problem able to know the things in question, (b) devising the planning well, connecting the first equation with the planned solution, solving problem according to the planned solution but only using one way solution, (c) substituting the answers into the first equation and determining maximum value of the function

The study deals with the developing interactive media for senior high school students. The objective of this study is to find out how to develop interactive media for better speaking skill of senior high school students. The research was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research was 2016/2017 students of the eleventh grade of Class XI IPA4 in SMAN 1 Batang Kuis. The number of the students was 30 students. The data of this study was collected by using need analysis questionnaire and experts’ judgment. Need analysis questionnaire was calculated by using percentage to get the information of students’ need before developing interactive media. Experts’ judgment was calculated by using likert data, mean and criteria interval of expert judgment to know the validity of interactive media which has been developed. After the data analyzed, it was found that the experts’ judgment result was 4.80 which had a very good criteria interval. The result of the research find that interactive media is a very good to be used in teaching speaking skill.
