Infections due to Aspergillus species are an acute threat to human health; members of the Aspergillus section Fumigati are the most frequently occurring agents, but depending on the local epidemiology, representatives of section Terrei or section Flavi are the second or third most important. Aspergillus terreus species complex is of great interest, as it is usually amphotericin B resistant and displays notable differences in immune interactions in comparison to Aspergillus fumigatus . The latest epidemiological surveys show an increased incidence of A. terreus as well as an expanding clinical spectrum (chronic infections) and new groups of at-risk patients being affected.

Dental incidence of caries has a significant impact on human health and currently affects the bulk of the world's population, despite numerous attempts to reduce it. One of the groups at risk of developing this disease is young people (students) who experience anxiety throughout the entire learning process.

The availability of natural agarwood tends to decrease and encourage some parties to cultivate agarwood producing plants by using biological inoculation method that is microbe. In relation to this, many manufacturers produce inoculant products used to inoculate agarwood trees. This research is aimed to get some agarwood inoculant products in South Kalimantan. The inoculant products used in this study were obtained based on information from agarwood farmers in South Kalimantan. Based on observation result, inokulan products have varied form ie liquid, capsule, and stick. In addition, these products do not fullfil the packaging standards such as the absence of date of manufacture, trade license, and expiry date. The result of identification of dominant microbes inokulan product design showed some products formed from microbial species that function in agarwood formation that have not been studied even at risk of endangering human health. The results of this study are expected to be an input for farmers to be more careful in choosing the right inoculantproducts and become a driver for producers to improve the quality of inoculants produced.slsKeyword: inoculants; fungi; agarwood; quality; south kalimantanKetersediaan gubal gaharu alam semakin menurun, mendorong beberapa pihak untuk membudidayakan tanaman penghasil gaharu dengan menggunakan metode inokulasi biologis yaitu mikroba.

The broken windows theory introduces an approach applicable to different fields of discipline insofar as it explains how disorder (crime, etc.) occurs in a community and provides a basis from which solutions can be developed to prevent it. Considering the complexity of healthcare systems, irregularities, and rule violations that commonly mark them and put human health at risk, it is important to produce more effective solutions by taking advantage of different perspectives. This study evaluates the applicability of the broken windows theory to patient safety. As this theory can be an effective solution to the medical errors, neglect and rule violations that commonly occur in the delivery of health services, it is important that further research on this subject be performed.

The software running in embedded or cyber-physical systems is typically of proprietary nature, so users do not know precisely what the systems they own are (in)capable of doing. Most malfunctionings of such systems are not intended by the manufacturer, but some are, which means these cannot be classified as bugs or security loopholes. The most prominent examples have become public in the diesel emissions scandal, where millions of cars were found to be equipped with software violating the law, altogether polluting the environment and putting human health at risk. The behaviour of the software embedded in these cars was intended by the manufacturer, but it was not in the interest of society, a phenomenon that has been called software doping . Due to the unavailability of a specification, the analysis of doped software is significantly different from that for buggy or insecure software and hence classical verification and testing techniques have to be adapted. The work presented in this article builds on existing definitions of software doping and lays the theoretical foundations for conducting software doping tests, so as to enable uncovering unethical manufacturers. The complex nature of software doping makes it very hard to effectuate doping tests in practice. We explain the main challenges and provide efficient solutions to realise doping tests despite this complexity.
