The high traffic density of railway line causes ballasted track to be extremely busy, and thus it is particularly important to improve the efficiency during railway maintenance. The changing law of dynamic characteristics of ballast bed during operation for the dynamic track stabilizer is conducive to optimize simulation analysis of the vehicle-track system, so as to provide an optimized choice of operating parameters for promoting the pertinence and efficiency of dynamic track stabilizer. This paper presents the acceleration response of vehicle-track-subgrade system during operation of a WD-320 dynamic track stabilizer and proposes the range of effective operating parameters. Then, the influence of operating parameters on the dynamic characteristics of the ballast bed is discussed for searching the optimal operating parameters under the single factor influence. Finally, the change laws including the support stiffness, damping, lateral resistance, and subsidence for the ballast bed are studied, and a parameterized model for dynamic characteristics of the ballast bed which can optimize the selection for operating parameters is constructed, rendering an effective reference variable for improving the simulation accuracy of the vehicle-track coupling system.

Train Virtual Coupling System (VCS) has been proposed as a new signalling system for controlling trains by building a group of trains as convoys in order to increase line’s capacity. This is achieved because the consecutive trains under the VCS is separated only by a relative braking distance; this is much shorter than the separation distance required in the Fixed Block Signaling (FBS) and Moving Block Signaling systems (MBS). In order to achieve the high capacity obtained from the VCS, the trains in a virtually coupled convoy should keep at a distance as close to the relative braking distance as possible and run at the same speed for maintaining the safe distance between them. In this paper, we propose a distance and velocity difference approach and introduce the multiple state movements for stimulating train’s movement under the VCS. The simulated results show that the capacity can be significantly increased and maximized in which the actual separation distance between trains when they are in convoy state is slightly longer than the minimum safe distance. It could be ensured that the train has proceeded safely in that the actual separation distance is surely longer than the minimum safe distance throughout the operation time period. In addition, we show that the trains can also proceed smoothly, in that a following train catches up with its leading train and joined in the convoy with a stable movement.

Abstract This article will propose the practical use of the interval control technology that will reduce the interval of passing trains and will increase the capacity of railway lines. Controlled approbation of the technology was carried out on railway sections for freight traffic: Shkotovo - Nakhodka, Novonezhino - Krasnoarmeysky of the Far Eastern railway and Koshurnikovo-Shchetinkino of the Krasnoyarsk railway in terms of “push locomotives” transferring to the opposite direction using the “virtual coupling” system; Mogocha - Urusha of the Trans-Baikal railway in terms of traffic organizing using the “virtual coupling” system for empty trains during long “Windows” on infrastructure; Slyudyanka - Bolshoy Lug of the East Siberian railway in terms of testing interval control technology to ensure the return of odd freight trains “push locomotives” using the “virtual coupling” system. The practical experience of the system use considered in the article allowed us to identify the main directions for its further development: protected radio channel stability improvement in obstacles of the rough terrain and the presence of tunnels; auto-driving algorithms operation.

Chinese high-speed railway has implemented large-scale network operation with an urgent need for capacity improvement. The concept of virtual coupling seems to be a promising solution that provides a new operational scenario for high-speed railway, where trains are formed into a cooperative convoy and run synchronously with small train headways. The train-following principles under the virtual coupling signalling are quite different from those under conventional train control systems. Therefore, train headway analysis for different operational scenarios should be carried out to ensure railway safety and evaluate capacity benefits brought by virtual coupling. This paper proposes a potential virtual coupling architecture with reference to ETCS/ERTMS specifications. We compare blocking time models under different train control systems, and eight typical train-following scenarios are investigated for virtual coupling, including train arrival and departure cases. A detailed multiscenario-based train headway analysis is provided based on the microscopic infrastructure of the station and technological characteristics of virtual coupling. All computational outcomes are based on the train dynamic motion model. A comparative analysis of train headways under virtual coupling and CTCS-3 is provided in the case study. Results show that train headways can be substantially reduced under virtual coupling and are related to the station infrastructure layout.

In recent years, considerable attention has focused on the morphological nature of the excitation-contraction coupling system of striated muscle. Since the study of Porter and Palade, it has become evident that the sarcoplastic reticulum (SR) and transverse tubules constitute the major elements of this system. The problem still exists, however, of determining the mechamisms by which the signal to interdigitate is presented to the thick and thin myofilaments. This problem appears to center on the movement of Ca++ions between myofilaments and SR. Recently, Philpott and Goldstein reported acid mucosubstance associated with the SR of fish branchial muscle using the colloidal thorium dioxide technique, and suggested that this material may serve to bind or release divalent cations such as Ca++. In the present study, Hale's iron solution adapted to electron microscopy was applied to formalin-fixed myofibrils isolated from glycerol-extracted rabbit psoas muscles and to frozen sections of formalin-fixed rat psoas muscles.

Abstract Dishub Surabaya and traffic Unit Polrestabes Surabaya partners  do speeding tickets through CCTV to reduce traffic violations in traffic and prevent accidents frequently happened. For the socialization of the press role is required so that residents will know  this new traffic regulation. The way of the spread CCTV by the way to traffic gridlock around the continuously to be done in make the community become disciplined in the traffic signs and regulations. The underlying theory is a theory of mass communication, theory of hypodermic needle theory, S-O-R theory, discipline theory, theories of adolescence. The methodology that was used this research is quantitative methods with type of correlational quantitative. In this research that are samples are teenagers klampis semalang 96 respondents. From the results of statistics done shows that significantly is the cctv news traffic to discipline attitude traffic in teenagers Klampis Semalang Urban village Klampis Ngasem in Sukolilo Surabaya city. Keywords : news, cctv traffic, discipline traffic
