Abstract The oil level of transformer conservator is related to the safe operation of transformer. There is no better way to detect the oil level of the conservator, when the indication of the oil level gauge is unclear or the jam fault. Through the selection of ultrasonic sensor, design of measurement and verification device and field practice, this paper studies and develops an on-line detection technology based on the ultrasonic principle, which can effectively and accurately detect the oil level of existing conservator types such as diaphragm, capsule and corrugated conservator, and is not limited by the detection environment.

Background: Winding deformation is one of the most common faults in power transformers, which seriously threatens the safe operation of transformers. In order to discover the hidden trouble of transformer in time, it is of great significance to actively carry out the research of transformer winding deformation detection technology. Methods: In this paper, several methods of winding deformation detection with on-line detection prospects are summarized. The principles and characteristics of each method are analyzed, and the advantages and disadvantages of each method as well as the future research directions are expounded. Finally, aiming at the existing problems, the development direction of detection method for winding deformation in the future is prospected. Results: The on-line frequency response analysis method is still immature, and the vibration detection method is still in the theoretical research stage. Conclusion: The ΔV − I1 locus method provides a new direction for on-line detection of transformer winding deformation faults, which has certain application prospects and practical engineering value.

Recently, filling mining is becoming more and more important in the mining industry and has been used widely. In order to better control the process of paste filling mining and acquire the accurate amount of filling material used, and to reduce the waste of paste filling material, we should detect in real time the paste flow in the pipe during the process of filling. This paper introduces in detail the basic principle of ultrasonic detection technology and the hardware composition and working principle of the on-line detection system. The author uses the theory of unascertained error analysis of detecting data and implements ultrasonic detection technology to realize on-line detection of paste filling pipe flow.

In order to improve the welding quality and welding speed of irregular bellows, according to the characteristic of welding seam of bellows, an automatic and on-line detection technology is proposed in welding technique. The infrared laser sensor is used for measuring with non-contact and real-time detection of welded joint center, the position of welding seam is transfered by the IEEE-1394(Fire Wire). After data preprocessing, the coordinates of feature point are extracted, be storaged and forecasted, then sent to the control system, the moving of welding gun is controlled along track scanning. According to the accuracy analysis of on-line detection system of bellows, the technology of tracking measurement is stable and reliable, and it is effective for improving measuring accuracy and efficiency.

Stess in laser cladding coating is an important factor affecting the safe operation of remanufacturing components. Ultrasonic testing has become a hot direction in nondestructive evaluation of stress, because it has the advantages of safety, non-destructive and on-line detection. This paper provides a review of ultrasonic testing for stress in remanufacturing laser cladding coating. It summarizes the recent research outcomes on ultrasonic testing for stress, analyzes mechanism of ultrasonic testing for stress. Remanufacturing laser cladding coating shows typical anisotropic behaviors, the ultrasonic testing signal in laser cladding coating is influenced by many complex factors, such as microstructure, defect, temperature and surface roughness, etc. At present, ultrasonic testing for stress in laser cladding coating can only be done roughly. The paper discusses active mechanism of micro / macro factors to the reliability of stress measurement and the impact of stress measurement to the quality and safety of remanufacturing components. Base on the discussion, the paper proposes strategies for acquisition of nondestructive, rapid and accurate measurement of stress in remanufacturing laser cladding coating.

Analyses the main methods of on-line detection technology in CNC system, and puts forward a method based on eddy current sensor. Because of the grinder’s special structure that different from the lathe’s, fixed the detection device on the Z axis with the cutter, which was proved available. Designed a new sensor structure and using impedance to analyze the signal and process, the experiments show that it has a high precision relatively. Programmed PC software in VB, through G code compiler, the PC can detect and control the system synchronously in the form of motion control card.
