Abstract The opening and closing time test of 500kV high voltage circuit breaker can evaluate the mechanical characteristics and three-phase synchronization performance of the circuit breaker. Due to the influence of the earth resistance circuit, the traditional test method of circuit breaker opening and closing time can not be carried out when both ends are grounded. This paper first introduces the differential coil used to collect the signal, and then according to the requirements of field test, puts forward a test method for the opening and closing time of circuit breaker under the condition of double terminal grounding, and gives the basis for judging the opening and closing signal time. Finally, it compares and analyses the results of this method with the traditional high voltage circuit breaker opening and closing time test method, and obtains the conclusion of high voltage circuit breaker. The test method of grounding time division and closing time at both ends of the circuit breaker can fully meet the needs of field maintenance, which provides a new idea for the opening and closing time test of 500kV high voltage circuit breaker.

The linear servo motor mechanism for high-voltage circuit breaker is presented and the control to new operating mechanism is analyzed according to the d-q axis mathematics model and the thrust characteristics of the permanent magnetic synchronous motor. The three closed-loop control schemes of location, speed and current for moving contact control is designed and executed on DSP. The high accuracy grating is chosen as the speed and location sensors by which the requirement for real-time and high accuracy in the system can be fulfilled. The control and regulation of the moving contact movement during opening and closing of the high-voltage circuit breaker are realized which make the movement curve the same as the ideal one. The opening and closing abilities and running reliability of circuit breaker are enhanced and the mechanical and electrical lifespan is improved.

In this paper, mainly for the problem that high voltage circuit breaker closing at the random phase can bring hard harmfulness to the power system. We design the 35kV SF6-Phase Control circuit breaker can control speed smartly, and opens or closes with phase selection, which is equipped with the magnetic actuator. In the article, the static and transient simulation analysis which includes the load force, and carried out prototype trial and test validation. At last, the results of simulation and test is given.
