Cataract iz one of the most common eye diseases among elderly people. The crystalline lens of the human eye is like a “natural lens which skips and refractors light rays. The crystalline lens is located inside the eyeball between the iris and vitreous parts of the eye. In youth the eye’s lens is transparent, elastic, can change its shape, almost instantly directing and managing its focus, this is why an eye sees the far and near objects equally good. In case of the cataract there is partial or absolute clouding of the lens, which may lead to the loss of its transparency and the eye gets only the small amount of light rays, thus it causes the complication of vision, and the eyesight becomes unclear and blurry. Over the years, the disease progresses: the degraded part increases and eyesight completely weakens. If the disease will not be treated in time cataract may even lead to the complete blindness. Key words: trauma, blindness, hyperopic, turbidity in eyes

Abstract Eye diseases are remarkably common and encompass a large and diverse range of morbidities that affect different components of the visual system and visual function. With advances in omics technology of eye disorders, genome-scale datasets have been rapidly accumulated in genetics and epigenetics field. However, the efficient collection and comprehensive analysis of different kinds of omics data are lacking. Herein, we developed EyeDiseases (https://eyediseases.bio-data.cn/), the first database for multi-omics data integration and interpretation of human eyes diseases. It contains 1344 disease-associated genes with genetic variation, 1774 transcription files of bulk cell expression and single-cell RNA-seq, 105 epigenomics data across 185 kinds of human eye diseases. Using EyeDiseases, we investigated SARS-CoV-2 potential tropism in eye infection and found that the SARS-CoV-2 entry factors, ACE2 and TMPRSS2 are highly correlated with cornea and keratoconus, suggest that ocular surface cells are susceptible to infection by SARS-CoV-2. Additionally, integrating analysis of Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) GWAS loci and co-expression data revealed 9 associated genes involved in HIF-1 signaling pathway and voltage-gate potassium channel complex. The EyeDiseases provides a valuable resource for accelerating the discovery and validation of candidate loci and genes contributed to the molecular diagnosis and therapeutic vulnerabilities with various eyes diseases.

ABSTRACTExpression of the bHLH transcription protein Atoh7 is a crucial factor conferring competence to retinal progenitor cells for the development of retinal ganglion cells. A number of studies have emerged establishing ATOH7 as a retinal disease gene. Remarkably, such studies uncovered ATOH7 variants associated with global eye defects including optic nerve hypoplasia, microphthalmia, retinal vascular disorders and glaucoma. The complex genetic networks and cellular decisions arising downstream of atoh7 expression, and how their dysregulation cause development of such disease traits remains unknown. To begin to understand such Atoh7-dependent events in vivo we performed transcriptome analysis of wild type and atoh7 mutant (lakritz) zebrafish embryos at the onset of retinal ganglion cell differentiation. We investigated in silico interplays of atoh7 and other disease-related genes and pathways. By network reconstruction analysis of differentially expressed genes we identified gene clusters enriched in retinal development, cell cycle, chromatin remodelling, stress response and Wnt pathways. By weighted gene coexpression network we identified coexpression modules affected by the mutation and enriched in retina development genes tightly connected to atoh7. We established the groundwork whereby Atoh7-linked cellular and molecular processes can be investigated in the dynamic multi-tissue environment of the developing normal and diseased vertebrate eye.

Human eye disease classification adapted by many pieces of research in the last decade due to the importance of eye organ for humans and the evolution in classification techniques. External eye diseases classified in this paper using backpropagation with non-linear cyclic learning rate based on welch estimation as a step for improving the performance of backpropagation. As a result, Classification accuracy achieved in this paper is (93.22%).

The eye is one of the five senses that has a very important role in human life, namely as the organ of vision. If there is interference with the eye or there is a disease, it is very influential on human vision. Its mean that we can conclude that eye is very important in our lie and must be keep for our body.  The purpose of this research to planning and develop the diagnose of expert system about diagnosing of diseases in the eye which include disease information about symptoms or the solution and have role to replace and imitate the process of the reason from an expert in solve the specification problem. the method used for reasoning is forward chaining method. The result of this research is expert system of diagnosing eyes diseases in humans which computerized who can be used for giving information and have benefit in diagnosing disease.
